Been a long while but finally had some time on my plate to start focusing on the shop and get some projects in the works. With a couple young ones, a home renovation, and 20 other things on our plates things fall behind. We will be posting pics of the home renovation as we get to the finish carpentry stage, along with pictures of the .e.side.studios small studio build. We do have a few snare drum orders that have been delayed but will be going out end of month. I am looking for volunteers to help get a huge asiatic elm milled down to be ready to work into some drums shells and bass bodies.. hit us up

With so much going on at the record label Dread Star Label and the productions with Dread Star we haven't had much time to work on the next round of drums. I have some tacking of the prototype free floating piccolo snare drum with Red I Jedi and Radical i&I that will be out in a few weeks.
I'll have that snare on hand at each of the shows put on by Dread Star along with this unfinished prototype 12x4.5 black on black that will be available sale the end of this month. We are excited about plans to work with one of the premier independent wood artisans in Indy Deep Wood Workshop to put together a few more prototypes in 13 inch and 14 inch snares a 20x20 bass are planned for later this summer. More exciting drums coming soon. Message us if your interested in handcrafted custom drums.

So this is what I call the bastard sled. I built it quick and out of crap I could find in my garage. Started out as a basic sled. Not really for precision but built for speed and safety. Drill 2 holes on each and and put the two most needed tools in handy spot that also serve as a dual purpose handles. I attached a little basket the whole squares and other must needs. I also added three rulers that I got for a dollar at the Dollar Tree has a quick reference guide. As I continue to pimp out the bastard I will add more pictures.
