The Doghouse Country Store Owners Mike and Nicole Umphrey moved to the Huntsville area in 2021. Mike is an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoys going to Thomas Hill Lake when he can.

After moving to the area in 2021, Mike and Nicole Umphrey saw a need for a bait and tackle shop to support the local outdoorsmen. Nicole is a retired teacher who enjoys spending time with their 4 grandkids. After moving to the area, the Umphreys saw a need for a bait and tackle shop to support the local outdoorsmen. With their "tiny farm", as they call it, th

ey also decided to sell their garden produce and farm fresh eggs. Their two adult kids and their spouses are also very talented and will be adding homemade items to the shelves of the store as well. The Umphreys main goals are to get to know their customers and provide wonderful products for the community.
