One sense of relief in this process of putting everything back together again!
Update Friday, August 11th.
Power has been restored.
Fire system completely out of commission, therefore we can not reopen until this is fixed.
We are still waiting to be contacted by our insurance claims handler. Until that happens we can not move forward with contractors.
There has been a significant amount of damage.

Unfortunately we will be closed for the rest of the week. We were struck by lightning twice this evening. We have several holes in our room and no power for the immediate future.
Please keep our 118 year beauty in your prayers.
We are already booking December! The per person price includes the Afternoon Tea $32.50 plus tax and gratuity for a total of $41.00 per person. Groups of six or more must be guaranteed by a credit card.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior, cancellations made outside the 48 hours will be charged the full price.
Make it even more of a special December and catch a show at the Eichelberger.

Russell’s series of maps illustrate the progression of the troops on their way through Hanover and onward to Gettysburg. The HAHS-Yelland Research Library has a collection of maps, books, and documents relative to the Battle of Hanover.

Hanover will hold its Memorial Day parade at 8:30 a.m. May 29. The parade will form at 7:30 a.m. on portions of Carlisle Street, between Chestnut Street and Library Place, and continue along Carlisle Street through Center Square, and on to Baltimore Street to Mount Olivet Cemetery, where a service will be held at the platform near The Soldier’s Monument.
Wednesday, May 31st…tea seatings from 2pm to 6pm.
