Skateboarding is a huge family. I’ve been skating 26 years and the shop has been open 24 years this August. When we started the family business with my aunt and uncle we didn’t know. I was 15 and been skating a few years. My uncle skated in the 80’s and 90’s and his uncle in the 70’s. Being a skater I’ve always loved Marc Johnson’s style, tricks, humor and graphics. I have people I know that knew Marc personally. From being a skater and a fan to working in a skateshop. Then being a rep for circa shoes when I was 20. Meeting pros, owners, reps and artists. Everyone knows each other in some way or another in this industry. Just been thinking all day and we love everyone we’ve come in contact with. Hug your friends and family. Check on them as well. Here’s a Transworld I got from 2002 when the shop opened with Marc. Also here is an Enjoi deck from like 2000-2001 right after they started in 2000.
