OMGoodness…. we have been so busy in the strawberry patch and getting the shop ready for opening day, that I forgot to post our big project last Wednesday…FALL PLANTING!!!!

All the fall decor was put in with the water wheel planter and seeds were placed in each hole made. Sam & Eli manned the planting, Grandpa Grover & Braydon drove the tractor, Grandma MJ ran seed back and forth, and I was the map writer & kept the plates cleaned from mud. Again, it was an all hands on deck kind of an afternoon. And after checking on the planting…all rows have sprouted!!!! A good rain shower would actually be awesome to give the seedlings a little extra boost!

So even though we are just getting ready with all of our summer produce…we had to prepare for the fall season as well!

More sheep shearing pics! Took about 4 hours to get through the entire flock including rams. It was a good day to get this project out of the way. We even got Eli’s girlfriend in on the fun…she even made a friend with one! 🤭 It truly is a job where all hands are on deck!
