Hello! We are Karin and Nicole Robyn and we want to welcome you to Freedom Society…the place where our love of 2 things overlap: cream tea and freedom. We spent several years living in Barnstaple England where our family immigrated from. While we were there, we shared weekly cream tea mother/daughter “dates” that became such a special tradition of being together and sharing a delicious treat. It was also during this time that we became aware of the issue of human trafficking and the desperate need for employment opportunities.
That’s right, the shop is part Tea Room (the real deal from our my British hometown), and part gift shop, which sells stunning handcrafted products made by survivors and help to bring sustainable freedom around the world!
So, we invite you to join the Freedom Society. Our hope is that it will be a gathering place where people can meet and enjoy the cozy atmosphere, have a cup of tea and try some incredible baked goods or lunch, and browse our shelves of freedom products, all while knowing they are bringing beautiful freedom.
