BIG NEWS! 🚨
I’m excited to report that Trickfish Amplification will be offering a new line of bass pickups very soon! You may already know this, but here’s a few details.
For the past 10+ months I’ve been working with Ryan and Justin, developing a brand new line of pickups that proudly carry the Trickfish name. The communication between us has been excellent, and together we’ve come up with a set of spec’s that have already caught the attention of some big name bass builders and players. A ton of work has gone into this effort, including the design and production of proprietary radiused covers for all pickup models. As you can imagine, we went through numerous prototypes and lots of testing to get where we are. We’re all extremely pleased with the results.
Ryan and Justin are real go-getters and they haven’t held back at all. It’s been a tremendous experience working with them.
I was able to attend the NAMM show where most of the pickups models were debuted at the Trickfish booth. I heard nothing but positive feedback from all who tried them.
At this moment I don’t know the exact release date, but keep your eye on their social media accounts and website. I know it’ll be soon. Jake has produced some excellent demo videos. I’m sure you’ll want to check them out when the pickups go live. Trickfish will be handling all sales and support.
It’s worth noting that all Trickfish pickups will be made in Texas, by yours truly, Bud LeCompte.
Remember the ALNICO! ™️
It’s also worth noting that LeCompte Pickups and LeCompte Basses are still very much alive. I will continue to build quality custom basses as time permits and continue to carry my full line of Triple Threat and Standard model pickups.
