Luna has been broken up with more times this week than she cares to admit... a grand total of 3 times to be specific. It stinks to be broken up with any time of the year, but on Valentine's Day?! That's enough to break your heart.

It's okay though, she's staying positive and knows that sometimes things just don't work out the way you plan. Plus, Luna admits that she is a tad bit clingy and that could have a little something to do with it. 2 year-old Luna is available for adoption and looking for a home with someone who is active and home a lot or who has a lifestyle that can easily accommodate her joining in on their daily activities.

Staff says Luna is a sweet girl who is full of so much love and excitement, that she can hardly contain all of it! She simply wants all the love all the time! Perhaps, you could be Luna's Valentine? It’s officially here, 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 (𝗱𝗼𝗴) 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬. In-between your shopping and the hustle and bustle of today, take a minute and give him a share. 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘅, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗯𝘆 🙏🏻

Currently fostered in West Newbury MA, we only have 3 weeks to find a spot for Rex and we’ve working on finding him a forever home for months. Rex is the last of his litter to be adopted and he still pines for a home of his own. He came to us as an older and scared puppy who wore the emotional scars of a life not kind to him before rescue. Rex says he’s grown from a fearful boy into a young dog bursting with unconditional love if you would just “𝙋𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀 𝙋𝙄𝘾𝙆 𝙈𝙀”.

With just moderate exercise needs despite his age, after a daily romp or hike in the woods, Rex is a super happy couch potato up for snuggle time and a binge watch on Netflix. DO YOU LIKE WINE? well Rex is clever and he knows how to collect the corks for you so they make it into the trash (yes, he really does!).

Rex doesn’t ask for much––just a little warm-up time to get to trust you, some understanding, and because he is a county boy at heart (city living is not his jam) a yard would be a bonus. Rex is currently fostered with another submissive dog but prefers to be the main attraction because he really loves to have his human all to himself. He has waited long enough and we think he deserves that too.

He was introduced to a dog savvy cat with success but has not lived with one. He is crate and house trained, just about a year old, and almost 50 pounds.
