Sitting here watching this 🐐 still playing amazes me. I thought I would share this card again. It has been about a year now since I got this card and posted it on my account. So it is buried. It shouldn't be.

Panini Award Winners was released a little at a time in each of the Panini sets. This one was in the first year Panini One set. Obviously very difficult to pull. You won't find many of these. Even though it isn't numbered it is rumored to be about 5 in existence.

I was nominates by for the challenge and this is mine.

The card: 2014 Panini Black Gold Versus Dual Jersey Peyton Manning and Tom Brady 1 of 1 graded BGS 9 Mint. None higher of all variations. Pop 2 of BGS 9 among all variations.

Story: In fall of 2019 I was trying to figure out a unique xmas gift for my father. I decided to get him a Brady Manning card from 2014. That was the year that my father and I met. We had several conversations in that first year as we got to know one another. In all those conversations we always seemed to talk Patriots and Broncos. Me from New England and he is from Denver.

The Chase: After doing research on what would be the card to get I decided the Black Gold Verses Dual Patch #/99. It was a nice card and a reasonable price. I knew of one that had but was #/25 and a pop 1 BGS 9. It was more than I was looking for. Then fate took over listed this one of one on ebay. I then realized that I had to have this. What are the odds that when I am looking for a meaningful card this becomes available? listened to my story and worked with me to get the card to someone that will cherish it forever. I then turned around and purchased card too so that I qjve the 2 best of that card.

Ending: My father has the #/25 pop 1 BGS 9 with a patriots logo patch and I have the one of one. We both look at the card to remind one another of those early conversations.

I have grown to love this guy on the team and we wouldn't be where we are without him. He is the heart of this team and he expressed it after game 2. He was wicked smaht in game 1 to tie it up without using a second.
