Do you. And find a designer who gets that. When I tell you that we approached with an assignment it was a big one. It went something like this...we are English antiques specialists with a coastal Florida home. We have an amazing vintage bamboo mirror that we want to be a focal point but could you also design the space to honor our English heritage, our desire for a nod to English cottage style and also make it functional for our main floor bath? We have some 19th century artwork that we would also like to feature and also can we do this virtually? never batted an eye. From the initial meeting through the changes that became necessary as our contractor peeled back the onion during demo she never wavered. The result is truly us guided by her deft and imaginative hand. The best compliment was our 18 year old daughter declaring that she "is obsessed.
PS get a contractor who gets the vision too! knocked it out of the park

Antique Snooker Scoreboard crafted by J. Ashcroft & Co. of Liverpool

Snooker, a game similar to billiards, traces its roots back to the British Empire. The game was invented in India during the latter half of the nineteenth century by British officers stationed in India. As British officers returned to their homeland, they brought the game with them and it quickly became part of the English Billiards scene.

This stunning piece of sports history and craftsmanship features hand-painted lettering and numbering in a fabulous vintage font that adds character and charm. The cast metal scoring markers glide smoothly along their tracks, showcasing the true quality of this well-preserved piece. It makes a beautiful statement piece for any game room or study.

We like our dishware with a touch of history.

The vintage blue and white Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) LTD pattern on the plates, also known as "Countryside" are a timeless classic of the 19th century. Enoch was a well known English potter during the time and this particular set was reproduced in the mid 20th century.

These exquisite mugs are a variety of coronation and jubilee commemoratives ranging from George V and Queen Mary to Elizabeth I.

Last night with , and was truly a night to remember at Dolly Archer! We were awe-inspired by the many people who came to support us and we thank everyone who came and made the night so magical. And a big thank you to for the amazing sweets and bites!

We are overjoyed and so grateful to be part of this wonderful community who shows up for each other and supports small, local businesses and artists. Thank you all and we can’t wait to do it again!

Let's talk about approachable, historical functional art.

Found in the entrance halls of many a grand country home, these functional and decorative hall chairs were meant to tell a story about the owner of the home, their history (crest), status and personal style.
