This lovely girl is a parian doll from about 1880. She wears her original dress which is beginning to deteriorate. Her head is bisque including the flowers in her hair and she has glass eyes - wow! I am an a long-time antique doll collector but have been branching out a little to vintage and other type dolls too. There are vintage Effanbee Patsy Dolls, Toni hard plastic dolls and compo1930s Shirley Temple to name a few. There are also different, handmade dolls I find interesting. Santon dolls are handmade in Providence, France and were originally made during the French Revolution as creche figures. Here I show one made in the 1930s I have for sale in my shop for the price $35.00. .

Hi and welcome to My Girls. I am so enjoying my Etsy doll shop I decided to extend it to bring in more of a social life because most of my days now involve dolls, dolls and more dolls and sometime it is nice to deal with people too. I hope to feature some of the dolls and maybe some of the accessories here to share them, but I am also looking for a bit of chit chat which I don't exactly get from my girls. So welcome!
