Today through Sunday, we’ll be donating 50% of our bottle sales to local VFD’s!
Please share & help us get the word out.

Our local Volunteer Fire Departments need your help. See the message below from the City of Early Police Department

“Over the past weeks Fire Departments have worked non-stop trying to stop dangerous grass fires. Our wonderful communities have come together and brought forth water and Gatorade by the pallets. They currently do not need any more; however, they do still have severe needs in other areas. These trucks take a beating fighting fires.
They need monetary donations. Trucks are broke down and in need of service, tires are ruined, pumps need work and all these items cost money. Most of these are volunteer agencies and only survive by donations and grants.
Most volunteer departments are 501C3 where you can deduct donations from your taxes.
Regardless of what department serves your area all of the local volunteer fire departments need your help. Whether Early, Bangs, Blanket, Zephyr, Winchell, Brookesmith, Lake Bridge, Lake Dam, Northlake or May. All the fire departments have been affected.
no one likes asking for money, but these guys need your help. Any amount of money is accepted and great appreciated. Even if a small community of 300 people gave $20 that is $6000, that will buy a set of tires and more.
Contact your local Volunteer Fire Department to help.
I bet they would even welcome more volunteers to sign up.”

Please Remain Calm and read this info
City of Early Police Department

Everywhere you look there is something about the Coronavirus. Some resources have blown things way out of context. Yesterday I participated in a conference call with the Governor’s office and many Chief’s, Sheriff’s and leaders across the state regarding the Coronavirus. I fully believe these details are accurate and worthy of following. The most important piece of information from that call is for everyone to maintain a level head and remain calm. There is no reason for panic. The State has successfully dealt with issues during the H1N1, SARS and Ebola incidents as well as many others.
Current cases in Texas – As of mid-afternoon on March 12, 2020, Texas has 23 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with those being situated in the counties of Montgomery, Collin, Tarrant, Dallas, and Harris counties. There are another 104 people being tested, with the suggestion that we’re in the early ‘community spread’ stage in Texas. More diagnoses are expected in the short term, but with adequate preventive measures now we can substantially limit the spread and avoid a surge or spike in those needing hospital care.
COVID-19 is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person close contact (within about 6 feet), respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Also, it might be possible to get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching mouth, nose or eyes.
SYMPTOMS: Unlike a cold, persons infected with COVID-19 have reportedly had mild to severe respiratory illness. Symptoms may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure and may include fever, cough, shortness of breath, and fatigue. The greatest at-risk populations are persons over 70, those in nursing homes or senior facilities, and those with existing health problems.
PREVENTION: Currently there is no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. Precautions to avoid exposure (similar to precautions taken to prevent the flu) include:
1. Wash hands often with soap and (warm) water for at least 20 seconds (sing Happy Birthday twice) especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing nose or sneezing. When you wash your hands, rub them together creating friction and clean in between your fingers and around your nails. Dry your hands thoroughly—wet hands carry viruses.
2. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available. Let the sanitizer dry on your hands—this kills the virus.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
5. Stay home when you are sick.
6. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and then wash your hands.
7. Avoid crowded places. When interacting with others, maintain social distances of 6 feet. Forego handshakes and unnecessary personal contact.
8. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects (cell phone, computer keyboard, door knobs, desks, etc) and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
LARGE GATHERINGS: To prevent unnecessary exposure and minimize spread, large gatherings are being cancelled and/or delayed across the state and country.
CONTINUITY OF SERVICES: All levels of government have continuity of operations plans, with public safety being a primary focus, and the essential functions of government from local to federal level will continue.
BIG PICTURE: This is an ever-changing situation creating a cascading series of inconveniences for many, but while the particular illness may be medically ‘novel,’ the ability of Texans to respond in logical, proactive ways is nothing new—it’s who we are.
We come from a long line of ‘adapt and overcome’ Texans.
Remain calm and take preventive measures. This will be over soon.

For Immediate Press Release: Boil Water Notice for the City of Early, Texas

Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

As the result of a 12” main water line break and the reduced distribution system pressure where dirt, debris, or bacteria could have entered the water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Early public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions).
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of /boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
After the water leak was repaired and the lines cleared, samples of the water will be sent to independent laboratory for testing. Once the test results come back to be clear of any harmful dirt, debris, or bacteria the boil water notice will be lifted.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place, on social media, or distributing copies by hand or mail.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact the City of Early at 960 Early Blvd or 325-643-5451.

Very upset!! Went to the theater tonight to see Unplanned, and was told that a church bought all the tickets for a private showing. This is the only time this movie is being shown in our small town. I drove 30mins to see this movie! If it was a private showing then it shouldn’t have been advertised! I was told by the cinema staff that I should have clicked on the buy tickets and I would have seen that the movie was sold out.
