The 2026 Des Moines Marble Show is just around the corner, and we want to see what everyone is bringing!

Collectors, dealers, and attendees, this is your chance to give everyone a sneak peek of the marbles, boxes, displays, books, toys, advertising pieces, and other treasures you'll have available next week in Des Moines. Whether you're bringing a few special pieces or an entire room full of goodies, we'd love to see a sampling of what will be available during the show.

Share a few photos in the comments and tell us a little about what you'll be bringing. Not only is it a great way to build excitement for the show, but it also helps fellow collectors know what to keep an eye out for when they arrive.

The 2026 Des Moines Marble Show is now only 7 days away, kicking off on Monday, June 8th!

This year's show is shaping up to be our biggest and most exciting yet, with more than 130 rooms reserved and collectors, dealers, and marble enthusiasts traveling from across the country to join us in Des Moines. The anticipation is building, tables are filling up, and before long we'll all be hunting for that next special addition to our collections.

So let's have a little fun. If you could find just ONE marble at this year's show, what would it be? A rare handmade? A special Christensen Agate or Peltier marble? Or perhaps that one marble you've been searching for years to add to your collection. Tell us in the comments: what is your ultimate "holy grail" marble?

We are only two short weeks away from this year’s Des Moines Marble Show, and the excitement continues to build! We’re thrilled to announce that we are now at 131 reserved rooms for this year’s event. The support and enthusiasm surrounding the show has been tremendous, and it’s quickly shaping up to be one of the largest and most exciting Des Moines Marble Shows we’ve ever hosted.

Great news, everyone, thanks to your incredible response, our initial block of 100 rooms for the Des Moines Marble Show has officially filled up!

The hotel has expanded our room block and given us 20 additional rooms, but these will be first come, first served and are expected to go quickly. This is shaping up to be our biggest show in many years, with 200+ collectors coming to town!

What a great day at the Iowa Marble Club meeting yesterday! We had an outstanding turnout with a great mix of longtime collectors, club members, and members of the public stopping in throughout the day. Several members brought marbles from their personal collections to display, and a few pieces even changed hands through friendly trades. We also had a number of attendees bring in marbles for identification and appraisal, which led to some fun discussions and exciting discoveries. One gentleman even brought a coffee can full of his childhood marbles from the 1960’s, and it was a real treat hearing his stories about playing “for keeps” on the playground.

It was especially great to welcome a new collector couple who jumped right in, along with several kids who came to learn about marbles and how to play ringer. Each child left with a free bag of marbles and a couple of shooters, along with plenty of smiles. A big thank you to all of our club members who came out to support the event and share their knowledge. If you’ve ever been curious about antique marbles or just want to spend a fun, relaxed day learning something new, we’d love to see you at one of our upcoming meetings!

🎉 Midwest Marble Friends — It’s Minnesota’s Turn! 🎉

Before we gather in Des Moines this June, our friends to the north are rolling into action!

The Midwest Marble Club Marble Show is coming up on Saturday, April 25 in Owatonna, MN — and it’s shaping up to be a great weekend of buying, selling, trading, and reconnecting with fellow collectors.

Room trading kicks off Thursday and Friday, with the main show on Saturday from 9 AM – 2 PM at the Baymont Hotel. Free admission, door prizes, and plenty of marbles to keep your pockets heavy and your stories flowing.

Let’s show them some Midwest support and help keep the marble momentum rolling all spring long. Minnesota in April… Des Moines in June… now that’s a pretty good marble road trip schedule.
