Delicious Apple Pie: A Recipe That Will Make Your Mouth Water!
Ingredients:
2 9-inch deep-dish pie crusts
6-8 medium apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or a mix work best)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Peel, core and slice the apples into 1/4 inch thick slices.
In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add the apples to the bowl and toss to coat the apples with the sugar mixture.
Place one of the pie crusts in the bottom of a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie plate, spreading evenly.
Dot the top of the apples with the butter pieces.
Place the second pie crust on top of the apples and press the edges together to seal.
Cut several slits in the top of the pie crust for steam to escape.
Brush the top of the pie crust with the milk and sprinkle with the additional tablespoon of sugar.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
