Vibrant yellow Fluorite with Calcite from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This juicy piece has a really great, glossy luster and good clarity. The edges show a thin layer of blue/purple zoning. The growth hillocks and patterns are especially nice, and some surface Bitumin adds visual contrast while giving definition to the nooks and crannies. The Calcite is well-formed and aesthetic. Overall, a very nice piece that exemplifies the unique characteristics of this mine. The Bitumin can be removed if you want a cleaner, brigher aesthetic, but Im selling as is. 8.5x5.4.2 cm. $275 shipped US.

Exceptional Fluorite with minor Calcite from the Annabel Lee Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This is one of my favorite pieces, and it's easy to see why. It's structurally flawless, with razor-sharp lines and corners. The surface is 10/10 gloss and luster. The clarity is breathtaking, allowing for a magnificent view of the heady zoning. The core is pale yellow that zones into purple and blue. It looks more blue in person. A fine dusting of Calcite adds some visual contrast. Internal inclusions of Bitumin light up under UV. Pure candy from one of the top mines amongst Fluorite collectors. Mmmm. Ex. Jordan Root. Ex. Emma Bell. 5x3.4x2.4 cm. Available.

Here's a cool Fluorite, Quartz, and Galena floater combo from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. It's got the classic Denton aesthetic, with lots of cubes and amazing stepped growth. It's fully healed, etched all the way around with complex secondary growth. There's a layer of Quartz druze on the bottom with some pebbles of Sphalerite. There's a nice, lustrous Galena crystal tucked into the one side and great phantom zoning. There are two cleaved corners, but it still displays beautifully, and is priced to move at $145 shipped US. 12x8x5 cm.

Double-sided Fluorite stalactite from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, Hardin Co, IL. This is another incredible piece from the Ed Francis Collection that I purchased a few months ago. There were a number of these unique, double-sided pieces in this collection. Obviously, the original owner had a special interest in them. This one is huge, with amazing color and display aesthetics. It has a distinct yellow core completely enveloped in glossy and lustrous purple cubes that all have fantastic zoning. All the prominent cubes have a visible yellow core. Condition is good, and it displays beautifully, though there are some scars here and there. A titular piece to add to your collection for a mere 500 shipped US. 17x10.5x6 cm. BIG!

Here's a bona fide smoker for your viewing pleasure🔥🔥🔥 Fluorite with Galena and Chalcopyrite from The Gaskins Mine, Empire Mining Sub-district, Pope Co., IL. This is a rare locale, and specimens of this size and quality are very hard to come by. The lemon candy color beautifully showcases complex stepped growth patterns and multiple cubic formations. Pale blue outer zoning can be seen on the corners and edges. The flip side reveals a completely different universe of complex aesthetics. It has splashes of vibrant purple crowned with the trademark Galena structure that Gaskins is known for. It has deep pockets of dissolution with pebbles of Chalcopyrite. There are several spots of Calcite that UV Orange. The Fluorite glows blue under UV, which is another hallmark of this mine. Complex etching covers the entire specimen. It's fully rehealed, and I see no point of contact on this unique floater piece. I should probably keep this one, but am offering it up for $1700 shipped US. 12.5x6x8.2 cm.

Here's an absolute banger I recently picked up. 💜 Deep magenta purple Fluorite from Hasties Quarry, Spar Mountain, Cave-In-Rock, Hardin Co., IL. Super complex growth hillocks lead to clean lines and very sharp corners, and the condition is outstanding. It has medium luster with some beautifully surface texture on the cubes. The zoning is good, with layers of darker bands. It's definitely one of the nicer Hastie's specimens I've come across in a while. 8x6.5x5.2 cm. $325 shipped US.

Let's celebrate Fluorite Friday with this incredible specimen from Southern Illinois. Flourite with Chalcopyrite from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This one calls you attention with its deep, icy blue and lavender tones. Sharp corners, edges, and so many perfect little cubes to complement the prominent one. The zoning is what you would expect, crisp layers of purple over a pale blue core. The Chalcopyrite is golden in color and really sets off the wonderful colors of the crystals. It's really easy to see why this is one of the most coveted locales for serious collectors, they offer next-level aesthetics and are always a great investment. 6.5x3.5x4.7 cm. $425 shipped to your door US.
