Scheduled oil changes in some of the fleet of Quaker Acres vehicles led Lee and I to these plaques in East Brookfield. The Boston Post road was one of the earliest mail routes between Boston and NYC. This upper half at some point parallels our very own Route 20. Did I feel any different being 60 or so miles outside of Boston? Sure. I craved molasses-flavored beans and cream based clam soup. I also casually forgot how to pronounce the letter "R."

Did anyone witness this on the Friday of the May show? A dump truck dropped this right on Route 20 at the entrance of Quaker Acres. Bob and Scott were deputized (forced into manual labor) by MassDOT. We really hit rock-bottom…

I’m sure I had this in a story earlier, but look at the absolute "girth" of this vintage pewter salt and pepper shaker set. Just kidding. It is tiny. Maybe, there were made for individual use. It is roughly 1/2 of an Umbreon Pokémon card, which is how I measure EVERYTHING. Metric system be damned!
(PS. My laptop screen is a hair over 3 and 1/2 Umbreon cards)

Safe travels to everyone that is embarking on a journey up to Brimfield for the Antique Show. The show starts Tuesday for most fields. To our vendors, they are calling for a healthy amount of rain tomorrow. Use caution when driving on the wet grass. If you get stuck, I will throw cheesesteaks at you. How many?
