My sweet honey bunny in her Mama made Easter dress! šŸ°

The Geranium address by is such a fun pattern. Iā€™ve made several over the years, even modified the pattern to make an adult version for myself a time or two, but it was so special to make one for my girl. I love being able to pull from my stash/scraps and mix and match fabrics. I see many aoGeranium dress in our future. Though I did learned what used to take me about a day to put together, now takes me about four!

I made a thing!

I had no plans of starting a new project any time soon and definitely no thoughts of joining a quilt along. But then I came across the sew along. One block a week, 52 blocks for the yearā€¦one whole year to make a quilt top?! Now thatā€™s the pace Iā€™m moving at these days. Sign me up! Literally.

Say hello to, Chester, the newest addition to our family. AND say hello to my latest quilty make, the by .

I have actually had this quilt finished for some time, but have not been inspired with any photoshoot ideas. Enter new puppy. He loves this quilt as much as I do!

As with my last make, I used the throw size layout (4x4 blocks), but at half scale to make it baby size. I love the graphic quality of her designs, and the more blocks the better, Iā€™ve just been preferring a smaller scale these days.

One more shot of this quilt, because I mean, thatā€™s why I paid for the extra checked bag right? To get ALL the shots?

Turns out it was a little more challenging to get the ā€œquilt with beautiful desert vistaā€ shots that I had imagined. I hadnā€™t factored in the part about hiking long distances, up high elevations, with a heavy quilt in the desert heat. So I settled for a few roadside turnouts.

But I also learned that while camping in a van the desert gets very very cold at night. So I was thrilled to have this monster to keep me warm.

Textures, wovens, hand stitching, and at least a touch of blue.

Just taking a moment to admire it while I contemplate more hand stitching.

The sun finally came out so I was able to get a shot of my *quilted* Booths Corner Quilt.

Iā€™m not calling it finished just yet, though itā€™s been hanging out on my couch in this state for the last couple weeks. Iā€™d really like to add another round or two of hand quilting to get it a little more dense, but Iā€™m having trouble deciding on where to add it. So, for the meantime letā€™s enjoy her as is.

Do you have any quilting plans this weekend? If not, might I suggest the Booths Corner? You could have yourself a cute top come Monday! Check out ā€™s latest post for some inspiration āœØāœØ

Are you joining the SAL?

Iā€™ve had lots of questions about the fabric I used for my Sky Cabin. It is made entirely with Sprout wovens (yum!). Colors in numerical order are as follows: Stellar, Porcelain, Oat, Midnight, Arctic, and Sand.

Be sure to check out website to signup for the SAL, and you the hashtag so I can see your versions! šŸ–¤
