Refinished using Melange’s Apothecary gray, sanding down the drawers to the natural wood detail and resealing using a protective poly. Gave it new hardware for a more modern look and I think I have this outdated and beat-up piece a new life. Let me know what you think👇🏼

Gave the cutie a quick little makeover using Melange’s “Carbon.” Enjoy!
Restored this well loved antique accent table and brought it back to life. This was done by giving it a good sanding, staining the top and giving it several coats of semi-gloss polyurethane. The base was painted in Melange Paint’s Jett Black ONE formula with a built in primer and top coat. Check out that beautiful sheen. Enjoy!
This was a fun ‘first,’ giving this piece an ombre paint design after rescuing it from the curb. It was destined for the landfill but look at it now. It was perfectly functional and just needed some structural reinforcement and a facelift. It’s now ready to be used and enjoyed again rather than rotting away in our landfills. Enjoy!

Another landfill rescue, found free on Facebook marketplace and given a second chance. For this dresser, I used Melange Paints ONE line with built in primer and top coat in a 50/50 mix of Jett black and Basilisk Black for the beautiful coverage and perfect top coat. The top three drawers were refinished and touched up with Restor-A-Finish in golden oak and conditioned/polished with Wise Owl Paints furniture salve. I hope this inspires you to give your own furniture or another piece destined for the landfill a second chance.
I enjoyed this fun flip after restoring a completely destroyed mini ikea dresser (identical to the last flip, if you didn’t already notice). This was a $5 find on and definitely needed a cleaning and a facelift. I had fun with this one by sanding down all the scratches and kid doodles on the outside pine, and completely cleaning out the gooey candy covered drawers and giving them a new lining. The outside was a fun canvas to use leftover paints, primers, and an easy geometric design on the drawers with painters tape. I hope you enjoy this flip as much as I enjoyed flipping it.

I found this on for $30 bucks, brought it home, removed the k***s, sanded everything down smooth, make some minor repairs to the drawers, cleaned everything down, and gave this several coats of Jett Black using my favorite, the ONE line with built in primer and top coat, making for a super easy flip, and with the perfectly smooth finish. After sanding down the wood k***s, I gave them a little makeover using Restor-A-Finish and sealed them with clear matte spray paint. Hope you enjoy this flip and are inspired to reduce furniture waste and flip a piece of your own!

An oldie but a goodie. This was one of my first flips a few years ago that found a home in my house and was well loved until finally letting it go after moving to Cali. Although I don’t have any “before” pics, this was an all dark walnut stained lingerie dresser that I found on and gave a little makeover. I sanded down the drawers the the natural wood, kept the brass hardware, and painted the body with a charcoal black chalk paint and matte poly. I’ve definitely come a long way since this piece, mostly in the products I use. If you’re interested in doing your own furniture flip, yes, the quality of your tools and products DO make a difference. Enjoy.
Enjoyed flipping this IKEA dresser, turning it from trash to treasure and saving it from the landfill. This was done by sanding everything down, giving it some structural support with brackets, installed some feet, brand new drawer pulls, and 3 coats of Melange Paints ONE formula of Restoration Bronze with built in primer and top coat all in one. Twice refinished IKEA bookshelf. Painted this awhile back when I first started experimenting with painting furniture. Added legs and gave it a sloppy coat of chalk paint. It was definitely an upgrade and served well for a few years. It was time for a fresh look and time to find a new home. This was sanded down smooth, given new screw cap covers, a fresh coat of paint, matte poly, and new legs. It’s ready to be enjoyed again after given a third chance :-) It is currently for sale on in the NoVa area. Enjoy!
I found this old 80’s media cabinet on FMP for next to nothing and immediately envisioned the previous media cabinet transformation from a few weeks ago and couldn’t resist. I loved how excited people got about it and how much interest it got, so I knew this media cabinet would get the same appreciation and used more than an older media cabinet. This was transformed with a custom black/blue paint, matte poly, and given some gold painted legs (and matching door pull) for a much more modern look. I think it makes a perfect liquor cabinet or buffet, but the potential is endless for this piece. Enjoy and be inspired.

This was painted with custom color mix of Jett Black and Vagabond Blue. Sealed with a matte poly and kept the original hardware and beautifully detailed wood drawer for character. Enjoy!
Took these two Facebook marketplace furniture rejects and turned them into a beautiful set with a little TLC. Filled in a lot of nicks and dings with DAP wood filler, sanded everything down smooth (Dewalt), primed, painted with Marquee’s Ashwood, sealed with Varathane matte poly, and given all new hardware. I hope you’re inspired to think twice before throwing away old and beat up furniture. Enjoy and happy holidays!
This kitchen cart was rescued from the trash and brought new life with just some simple touches. This was sanded down, restoring the natural wood, painted with Restoration Bronze, and the top surface was polished using Butcher Block conditioner, food grade mineral oil with natural waxes. This was a quick little flip with a bedside table trashed simply because one of the drawer tracks was broken - and simply reattached and fixed 100%. All it needed was a little sanding, new paint job, and newly painted hardware. This was brought back to life with Restoration Bronze ONE formula (my current trending favorite), and the hardware refreshed with a bronze-gold spray paint. Enjoy!
Check out this antique washstand with beautiful Knapp jointed drawers, dating it back to the 1970’s-1900’s. This needed a serious refresh and was so fun seeing it be out back to life. I completed sanded down the piece to smooth out all the minor nicks, dents, and water stains. The top was completely refinished by giving it a “special walnut” stained surface, sealed with Rustoleum’s matte poly, and polished with Wise Owl furniture salve to give a fresh and hydrated look. The body was painted with Melanie’s Jett Black ONE formula using my favorite Country Chic oval brush. The drawers were provided new lining and the wood polished up to bring it new life.
