Ashburn, VA—October 1, 2006—That twenty bucks burning a hole in your pocket can buy you some great fashion at vintagemarkethouse.com, the new internet vintage style site. Vintage Market House has combined the best of three worlds- flea market finds, thrift shop treasures, and vintage shop fashions- bringing it all to you in one convenient shopping site.
Carmen Corsi, owner, has been shopping vintage clothing for the past 15 years. Carmen felt the need to start Vintage Market House because “While I liked shopping and finding great vintage, I realized how many other people liked the same styles but weren’t willing to scour thrift shops and markets or pay steep prices. I wanted to have a resource for all shoppers, all budgets, all vintage styles.”
Vintage Market House has been able to do just that- deliver a well-edited collection of vintage clothing, accessories, and small housewares in a fun, easy to navigate site. Items span primarily from the 1960’s-80’s, and while there are some era-specific pieces, many items mirror today’s runway styles. As Carmen noted, “We have hippie and disco styles for the true vintage lovers, but we also have great dresses, suits, and coats that will work for more contemporary wardrobes.”
Besides retro fashion and home must haves, shoppers will be equally attracted to the prices. Most items are priced under $20, and others such as suits and coats are in the $20-$50 range. Vintage Market House currently features women’s fashion but will be adding men’s clothing and accessories soon.
Vintagemarkethouse.com is the solution for those who want to add unique pieces to their wardrobes but keep to their budget. Use your hard earned cash to get a great dress and handbag- you could always splurge on the shoes.
