Happy Earth Day! Earth Day is a time to celebrate the incredible planet we call home. It's also a time to reflect on how we can protect our home and make the most of what we have. We strive to make every day Earth Day by offering sustainably sourced products, many of which are made with recycled or upcycled materials. Items that are good for people and for the planet - that's what we love to see!

This week, we're excited to host three events with three incredible sustainably-minded local organizations. Come celebrate with us!

What is the Sustainability Festival, you ask?
This Saturday, dozens of local businesses will come together to showcase their eco-friendly products, services, and programs. Join us for a fun-filled morning and learn how you can support your community and your planet at the same time! 🌎♻

From dryer balls and laundry soap nuts to reusable bags and natural cleaning supplies, we’ll have a plethora of eco-friendly goodies to share. Our manager Kate will be manning our table (here she is at last year’s event!). Stop by and say hi!

As a part of our initiative, friends of the store have generously donated items from years past to allow them to be resold. It’s a way to ensure that awesome pieces find a loving home. Our You Deserve Love Anahata Wall Hanging is handmade in Bangladesh by artisans working with Prokritee. Prokritee is a women-led enterprise dedicated to creating safe, sustainable jobs for women in rural areas. Prokritee means “nature” in Bengali.

It was a pleasure to host the Association of Albanian Girls and Women - AAGW for International Women's Day this past Saturday! The AAGW's dedication to supporting survivors of trafficking and domestic violence is truly inspirational, and we're proud to partner with them. Thank you Amy for your commitment to educating others about this critical work.

If you'd like to support the AAGW, you can always do so by buying jewelry or donating your own gently used jewelry pieces to be resold in-store. We're particularly excited to announce a new collection of evil eye themed jewelry handmade by the women of the AAGW. Come on in and check it out!
