Come see us this week to celebrate! We have some wonderful items available. As we continue to expand and bring in a variety of fish, we are always happy to hear your thoughts.. what are you loving on the menu, and what do you wish we had? Several people in the past have requested Walleye, and I promise to you- I haven't stopped looking. Another goal of ours is to find a new supplier of the USA Wild shrimp. It's disappointed us, as much as it has you, that we had to discontinue those beautiful brown shrimp for now. So let's hear it.... what would you like to see?

Crispy Tilefish with Ponzu Butter Recipe

Get your culinary juices flowing! We're expecting Golden Tilefish towards the end of the week baring any freight disruptions due to the hurricane.

Golden Tilefish has a mild and buttery flavor that many compare to crab & lobster.

I'll be trying it using this recipe from the Food & Wine magazine: Crispy Tilefish with Ponzu butter.

Mussels and Clams will be back in stock Wednesday.

We had an influx of new likes/followers on FB this week; so for those of you who are new here: Thank you for following and supporting us. Our price list is posted every Tuesday and updates are made throughout the week. You no longer need to pre-order, but if you wish to do so, please text your order to: 571-247-1509 include your name and day you'd like to pick up. You may also walk in to the shop at anytime to put in an order. Turn around time depends on the order and how much processing is involved but typically doesn't take longer than 5-10 minutes. We had some exciting things come in this weekend!
Fresh Seabreem, also known as Dorade, Kampachi, another shipment of Red Snapper, gorgeous yellow edge grouper and head on shrimp.

The head on shrimp are packed by 2lbs and come frozen semi-iqf, there are approx 10 shrimp in each package.

Adjustments to the price list this week! Previous list was accidentally deleted, but I heard you all loud and clear! Head on prawns are definitely something you guys want to see!

Grouper shipment was delayed and should arrive late tonight, so we'll have it ready to fillet Friday! Unfortunately all crabmeat that we had come in has sold out. Fingers crossed for more next week. USA Wild-caught shrimp are out of stock for the next week or two.

This week we have black tip shark fillet. NOAA Fisheries states: shark that is caught out of the Atlantic Ocean is considered a smart seafood choice based on the sustainable fishing methods as well as the US regulations for catching. It has large sweet flakes with a meaty and moist flesh. Some recipes recommend soaking the shark prior to cooking. Whatever your recipe suggests the key is to not overcook!

Calling all Amberjack fans! Have you seen the new item on the list this week, Kampachi? Kampachi is farm raised Amberjack. The method for farming Amberjack was developed in Hawaii, and has now spread to places like Mexico, where our shipment came from. A pale pink flesh, with firm, sweet and buttery flavor.

Bought two beautiful pieces of monkfish at Mas Seafood last night. I was timid about cooking it but one of my New Year's resolutions is to eat more fresh fish and to explore new varieties. Learned that monkfish is best when it's roasted and found this delicious recipe, for which I used the olive mix from the Alexandria farmer's market. I hope that you can get access without subscription.
