Today we added a fun Salt and Pepper Shaker set that celebrates the 1986 movie "King Kong Lives!" to our Ebay store! Check out this wonderful Empire State Building and Kong (holding an airplane) set! The building has a single hole for salt and Kong is your dispenser of pepper, with two holes. Have a look and have a great weekend!

Here is another fun find from the large amount of Salt and Pepper Shakers that we found at a local Maryland auction! These sleeping hillbillies tell the story of a family that either loved salt or decided to place the pepper in the shaker with only two holes, 😉 because he is far more faded that his brother. I love the questions that vintage things bring to my mind and am always curious about their story. It is part of what drives me to continue to find fun new things to sell! I am grateful to my wonderful mother-in-law for deciding we needed to experience an auction while she was visiting many years ago.

One of the two pieces still has the Japan sticker on it. The salt shaker is faded when compared to the pepper shaker, but the salt shaker's feet are more distinct.

Today we listed likely the strangest listing yet. We found these at a Maryland Auction in the midst of a very eclectic collection of other Salt and Pepper shakers: Red plastic toilet bowl shakers! Too crazy!

One of the "lids" opens slightly further than the other and there is an imperfection on the side of the pepper shaker, probably from where a previous owner broke it free from the mold. Red Plastic Toilet Bowl Salt & Pepper Shakers.

It has been too long since I have posted on Facebook for PLR Lost and Found. My hope is to get on this page at least once a week. Our store through Ebay is still going strong, although it doesn't have nearly the number of items up because almost 2 years ago we moved the store from NC to VA and our storage has downsized. We hope that you will check out our store on Ebay, as we do have some fun items! Please note, that if you can still see the "Shop" here on Facebook I am sorry. I can only appear to get at it via my phone and I am at a complete loss as to how to empty it and shut it down. Those items have all moved on to new homes. I am hoping that it will fall off completely on April 24th because I have not set up our store to take payments through Facebook and that has never been my intent.

Hubby would daydream about a book store and I would daydream about the building it would be in and the other amenities we would have... like a café where shoppers could get tea and coffee and maybe a scone or small cake. We aren't quite there yet, but we do sell books and mugs!

I am on the lookout for old style Bath & Body Works foaming hand soap bottles. I am including a picture of the two bottles next to one another. The newer bottle is a tad shorter and stays "square" almost all the way up, while the older style tapers gradually from the bottom to the top. For this photo the old is empty and that is great! I want them empty 😊

Today's item is a fun little doll named Dillon. I found him at an auction in 2019 and he hasn't found a home yet. I loved his very Scottish colors and look!

A favorite item of mine that we have in our shop right now is a beautiful brass pillar candlestick that was made in Japan. It is likely from the middle of the 20th century base on the research that I have done. It is just a smidge over 10 inches tall and is very ornate. I love the waves and vines and other details that the artist put into the mold for this piece.
