NFLPA prez Tretter calls for switch to grass fields

‘Gotta’ love NFLPA president JC Tretter’s position on the value of natural turfgrass sports fields.

NFL Players Association president JC Tretter is calling for NFL teams to change all field surfaces to natural grass, noting the higher rate of noncontact lower extremity injuries when playing on artificial turf.

Seed harvest in North Dakota is wrapping up. To ensure a quality harvest and clean seed, notice how the edges of the field are worked up and the combines run at a low speed of 2mph. Nice work out there!

Often we may not notice the hummingbirds, bats, bees, beetles, butterflies, and flies that carry pollen from one plant to another as they collect nectar. Yet without them, wildlife would have few...

Fake plastic unease: Can MLS become a world-class league on artificial turf?

“Every game, every team should have grass, without a doubt,” Beckham said at the time. The discussion around plastic pitches in MLS isn’t a new one, but this is a large part of the point. Players continue to feel they aren’t being listened to.

Major League Soccer’s goal of becoming one of the world’s best leagues is ever compromised with so many of its teams still playing on artificial surfaces

This right here is what you’ll get when you use products from Landmark Turf & Native Seed. Thank you!!!!
I seldom "review things", but I feel I need to let Landmark know how "impressed" I was with Wayne Horman. Feb 27, 2018 he spoke at a turf event in Urbandale, Iowa (Des Moines). His knowledge & experience greatly surpassed my expectations. I have been in the green industry since the 1970's (masters in hort & own my own business). Landmark >>> Wayne represented you at the highest level. Larry, American Lawn Care.
