#6!!! 2021 is productive.

This 48” round table with 24” leaf has gotten the full The Chalk Chick treatment!! It’ll be at Grit & Grace Market just in time for our one year anniversary celebration.

The pedestal and skirt are painted in Wise Owl Onr Hour Enamel original Black paint. The same paint was used for the all over pattern stencil on the top.

The top was “Re-Tiqued”, stained with General Finishes Espresso Water Based Stain, stenciled and sealed with One Hour Enamel clear satin for some extra shine. It’s a beautiful table. It’s a one-of-a-kind functional artwork kind of table.

Good morning! This is a “just keepin’ it real” post.

These are pictures from my studio this morning. I’ll describe the mess/process under each photo. Somehow, I manage to tidy up each day so I still manage to get some work done.

Bread Box be gone!! It could be a nesting box now! Well, almost.

I love my little box. It’s painted in Dijon Chalk Synthesis Paint on the exterior and Urban Rhino One Hour Enamel for the interior.

The lid was decoupaged with a paper from Roycycled. I added handles to the sides to make it easier to move around.

My husband and I have been listening to a series of books by Louise Penny and thoroughly enjoying them. They are set in Quebec.

The residents of a small village spend their winters planning elaborate FAUX vacations to places much warmer than Quebec. They start with a budget, and spend the evening daydreaming about their vacation.

So....I ask you....if you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why? My answer is in the comments. It might surprise you.
