Klara Lord (b. 1982) is a Swedish artist working with an experimental approach to ceramics. Her work is characterized by a curiosity about material and the transformation that takes place in the firing. By creating conditions where the materials expand, grow, flow or collapse in the kiln, the material is a co-creator, expressing material agency and adding an element of surprise.
