Meet our DMC:


Today I'm happy to introduce Rosario Morais. One of the nicest, kindest people you can meet. Bubbly, friendly, outgoing, passionate about her work, it all fits Rosario to a tee and we simply love working with her. Now the MD of VEGA, she’s steering her agency with a steady hand through this difficult time, but she’ll come out the other end, with the title of top DMC in Portugal still firmly in place.

We asked Rosario some questions and she willingly shared her answers with us:

What is your favourite destination?

In Portugal, the South west coast for the beaches and the Douro region for the scenery, the wine and the food

How long have you been in the industry?

31 years

What is your best local food?

Difficult to choose.. so many good things in Portugal in terms of food but at this time of the year, definitely grilled fish or any seafood with a good mixed salad and some chilled Portuguese white wine😊

Where was the last place you travelled to?

London for business last March

And something else, you’d like to share?

Miss all my industry friends! Can’t wait to get back to work, to welcome our valued clients and their guests into Portugal and to travel again.

We completely share your sentiments, Rosario. Can’t wait to start traveling again and share a glass of wine with you.

O Porto Santo é uma pequena ilha dominada por uma belíssima praia de areia dourada que pertence ao arquipélago da Madeira.

Com 42,48Km2 de área e cerca de 5 500 habitantes, esta pequena ilha com 9km de Praia de Areia dourada é em muitos aspectos, diferente da Ilha da Madeira apesar da curta distância entre ambas. O solo é bem mais arenoso, a pluviosidade é abaixo da média registada na Madeira, é plana e a sua paisagem também se caracteriza pela imensas palmeiras. É um retiro para os madeirenses nos meses de Verão e oferece todo o tipo de comodidades, desde excelentes hotéis até restaurantes e serviços de animação!

O Porto Santo f**a a 15 minutos de avião ou então a 2h30m de barco (Lobo Marinho - Porto Santo Line) da ilha da Madeira.

O grande destaque desta pequena ilha, vai definitivamente para os 9km de Praia que correspondem a quase todo o comprimento do Porto Santo e que em 2012, foi eleita uma das “Sete Maravilhas” de Portugal na categoria de praias de dunas!

Porto Santo is a small island that belongs to the archipelago of Madeira, famous for its beautiful and enormous golden sandy beach.

With a 42,48Km2 area and 5500 inhabitants, this small island with a 9km golden sandy beach is in many aspects different from Madeira Island despite the short distance between them. The soil is sandy, the rainfall is below average registered in Madeira, is flat and its landscape is characterized by huge palm trees. The madeiran use it as an escape during the summer months and it offers all kinds of facilities, from fine hotels to restaurants and entertainment services!

You can get to Porto Santo in just 15 minutes by plane, or you by boat (Lobo Marinho - Porto Santo Line) in 2h30m.

The main attraction of the Island are the 9km beach that correspond to almost the entire length of Porto Santo. In 2012 it was named one of the "Seven Wonders" of Portugal in the category of “sand dune beach”!
