This was a challenging case! Our client has severe acne and oily skin. She started with Rosehip Tomato Set before slowly incorporating Grapeseed Oil. She also added our Soleil Sunblock in her routine for additional care.
Together, we adjusted her skin care routine until we started to see progress 🥰

10-month progress of using Acne Clear Set & Rosehip Oil 🍃🌹
Our clients have different timelines when it comes to their acne journey. Some of our clients see the effects after a few days, weeks, and some even after a few months 😊 it varies from person to person and the bottomline is that our progress is our own 👌🏽
What factors contribute to acne? What factors make a person’s acne journey take longer than others?
✋🏽touching your face - our hands are home to lots and lots of bacteria, which, when it transfers on our face, can lead to breakouts.
💤not getting enough sleep - our skin repairs and regenerates itself when we sleep. Loss of sleep takes away the chance for our skin to heal itself.
🍴poor diet - food that causes blood sugar to rise may trigger acne.
😔stress - stress hormones prompts your sebaceous cells to release more oil, leading to acne breakouts.
🚬smoking - damages the skin’s collagen & elastin, making it difficult for the skin to heal acne & scars.
💄sleeping with makeup on - leaving makeup on your skin for too long causes your pores to get clogged with excess oil, toxins, and chemicals. This attracts acne causing bacteria - leading to breakouts.
💊certain medications - there are some medications that trigger acne breakouts.
🛌not washing your pillow cases for too long - our pillow cases are home to bacteria after it has been used for some time. Sleeping with dirty pillowcases may introduce these germs on our skin, causing breakouts. It’s recommended to change or wash your pillowcase every 7-10 days.
💅🏽not cleaning your makeup brushes/tools regularly - when using makeup, it’s important to clean the tools we use regularly. The leftover makeup on our brushes and sponges may foster bacterial growth. After which, when we use it again, the bacteria can transfer on our skin and lead to acne.
