The Girl Scouts of the Philippines proudly participated in the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) educational program, โ€œTapat sa Watawat: Kasaysayan sa MET,โ€ held on June 8, 2026, at the Metropolitan Theater, Manila.

Junior, Senior, and Cadet Girl Scouts from Manila Council, together with their troop leaders, joined the meaningful learning experience alongside staff from the National Headquarters. The program provided valuable insights into Philippine history, culture, and the significance of the national flag, fostering a deeper appreciation for our heritage and national identity.

Through activities such as these, Girl Scouts continue to uphold the values of patriotism, citizenship, and service to the nation.

This morning, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines proudly took part in the ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ in celebration of ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐Ž๐œ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” at ๐’๐Œ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง as an invitation of ๐’๐Œ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ, demonstrating our commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.

Through teamwork and volunteerism, our Girl Scouts helped protect our coastal environment, proving that even small actions can create a lasting impact.
A total of 150 Girl Scouts with their Troop Leaders from Mandaluyong Council, Manila Council, Caloocan Council, Pasay Council, and Rizal Council participated in this event.

Also present were Council Executives Mrs. Joan Coronel of Caloocan City, Mrs. Des Javillo of Manila City and Cecil Brazil of Mandaluyong City.

Together, we continue to live by the values of responsibility, leadership, and care for our planet.
