Thank you so much to everyone who signed up and came by to our listening party for Mitski’s () latest album ‘Nothing’s About To Happen To Me’ 🐈🏠

It was such a joy to have listened to the entire album a whole week in advance with some of the biggest Mitski fans in the Philippines. Witnessing all of you guys showcase your creativity through such impressive artworks was truly special, and it has been an absolute pleasure to bring the community together at events such as this ✨💛

Our team at Acetate Music is immensely grateful to the home of the best donuts in Manila for hosting us, as well as to and (of courseh Mitski herself for partnering with us for the ‘Tansy House’ listening event. 💿🎶

🐈👂MITSKI LISTENING PARTY👂🐈

We’re excited to announce that Acetate Music and Mitski invite you to the Official Worldwide Tansy House Listening Event, a special early-release listening party for her new album, ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’ 💌

Mitski’s forthcoming album ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’ (out February 27 via Dead Oceans) finds Mitski immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant; inside of her home, she is free.

At the Tansy House Listening Events, Mitski invites fans to join her in that home for an early listening of ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’ and scrapbooking at her desk. The album will also be available for pre-order + can be picked up on its release day of February 27, 2026.

Fans attending the listening event are encouraged to bring their favourite pens, stickers, and other crafting supplies. 🖌🎨 They’ll receive a notepad of Tansy House letterhead upon arrival, on which they can write, doodle, and scrapbook as they listen to the unreleased album. Finished pages will be attached to a Desk of Mitski poster hung in the event and have the chance to be featured on Instagram page.

📍Location: Baker on East, Salcedo, Makati
🎁 Participants will receive an exclusive album print, a complimentary Baker on East donut, and more Mitski freebies!

Showcasing another stunning entry in our series, designed by the amazing 🤩💫

Kitty Jardenil is a designer, illustrator, and lettering artist based in Parañaque City. A maximalist at heart, she uses vivid colors and rough textures when creating her works, often inspired by vintage illustrations and ephemera. She likes to nap a lot, and is currently waiting for Paramore to drop new music.

With this growing series, we want to highlight the very best of local talent here in the Philippines—with each artist creating their own take on the theme of our modern day connection with music (particularly with vinyl records!) We’ve enlisted the help of a number of talented Filipino artists for this series, so stay tuned for more artworks to come in the near future 👀

Each entry in this growing series will be distributed FOR FREE to our customers through a collectible postcard as our gesture of appreciation for all the support all of you have showered us these past two years. Expect distribution of this artwork to come within the next few weeks! 🥳🎉
