The Morgan family have been involved in the seafood business since the 1890′s and therefore have over 150 years of experience developing a passionate insight for seafood. Generations of family members have passed on an indepth fish catching and processing knowledge so that the Morgan family members continue to use that heritage today. The company was formally established in 1989 and to facilitate

a unique “hand filleting” fish process, a custom built state-of-the-art plant was built, in the heart of Cooley Peninsula overlooking the stunningly beautiful Carlingford Lough. The company continues to operate from this site, adding a custom designed smoke house in 2000, so that they could develop a distinctive oak smoked salmon product. Ideally situated equidistant between Dublin and Belfast and within ten minutes of the M1 Motorway, Morgans have built up a network of customers throughout almost every county in Ireland. Within the various Retail & Wholesale sectors Morgans are widely established as experts in quality seafood processing.

We’re appealing for help to locate Shane McEvoy, who was last seen on Friday, 13th March, at around 9:30 PM, across from Junction 20 Circle Shop at Thompson’s Yard.

Last seen wearing:

Black beanie hat
Dark hoodie or jacket
Light blue jeans
White trainers

If you have any information or CCTV/phone footage, no matter how small, please come forward — it could make a real difference.

This Tuesday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day) we’ll be closed.

Another day, another discount my friends — I think we’re going mad 😁

This weekend only, our fresh salmon is dropping from €22/kg to just €20/kg!
Why? No reason at all... just because you deserve it. And what better way to celebrate than with this quick and delicious recipe:

Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon 🐟

Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tbsp olive oilLemon slices & fresh parsley (to serve)

Instructions:
Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and olive oil in a bowl.Pan-sear the salmon over medium heat for 3–4 minutes on each side.Pour the honey garlic mix over the salmon and cook for another 2 minutes until glazed.Squeeze a little lemon on top, sprinkle parsley, and enjoy!Fresh, simple, and on sale — what more could you ask for? 😉📍 Available this weekend at Morgan’s Fine Fish, Omeath.

Good morning everyone! Our hake price just went down from €19 to €17.50, so what better way to celebrate than sharing a really good hake recipe? 🎉🐟Mediterranean Baked Hake TraybakeLooking for a healthy, tasty dinner idea? Try this super simple Mediterranean baked hake traybake – high in protein, low in fat, and full of colourful veggies.✅ Serves: 2
✅ Time: ~30 minutes
✅ Great for midweek dinners👉 You’ll need:2 hake fillets (120–150 g each)1 red pepper, sliced1 yellow/orange pepper, sliced1 small red onion, sliced1 courgette, sliced1 can chopped tomatoes (400 g)8–12 olives, halved2–3 garlic cloves, minced1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil1 tsp dried Italian herbs or oreganoChilli flakes, salt, pepperLemon wedges and fresh parsley to finish👉 How to make it:
1️⃣ Heat oven to 180 °C (fan 160 °C).
2️⃣ In a baking dish, mix peppers, onion, courgette, garlic, olives, herbs, chilli, olive oil, salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Pour in chopped tomatoes, stir, and spread evenly.
4️⃣ Bake veggies for 10–12 minutes.
5️⃣ Season hake fillets and place them on top of the veg.
6️⃣ Bake another 12–15 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
