Meet our Professional Green Girl Sabrina
For the past 23 years I’ve been committed to a path of recovery that has reshaped every part of my life. What began as a personal struggle evolved into a journey of transformation—one grounded in honesty, discipline, and a deep desire to live with clarity and purpose. Along the way, yoga and meditation became essential tools, offering not only stability but a spiritual framework that continues to guide me every day.
The yamas and niyamas, yoga’s ethical foundations, have served as anchors throughout my sobriety. Principles like non-violence, truthfulness, self-discipline, and contentment remind me to show up with integrity—both for myself and for others. Through daily practice, breathwork, and mindful movement, I’ve learned to sit with discomfort, release old patterns, and reconnect with a sense of inner steadiness.
Recovery has taught me resilience; yoga has taught me presence. Together, they help me stay grounded, grateful, and committed to living clean and sober—one day at a time. Today, I share these practices with others to show that healing is possible, growth is continuous, and a meaningful, purpose-driven life is always within reach.
I learned to listen to myself with compassion rather than criticism. Yoga helped me feel grounded, and meditation taught me to observe my thoughts without being controlled by them. Together, these practices became steady companions on my path toward recovery, not only substance abuse but an eating disorder and body dysmorphia helping me rebuild trust in myself and cultivate a healthier, more nurturing relationship with my body and my life.
The Sober Sangah movement is a community based platform that supports not only people in addiction but anyone looking for a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them
