Spread a little happiness with a beautiful hamper or gift. 15% profit is donated to 7 charities. I set up Happiness Wrapped in 2018 for two reasons. Why?
To create unique and thoughtful quality hampers and gift boxes that spread a little happiness and raise funds for 8 charities close to my heart. Because my Mum needed a heart valve replacement in 2018 and Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital saved her life. Then in 2019, I had Breast Cancer and Warrington & Halton Hospitals and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre saved mine. As I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis
since I was 18 I also support Versus Arthritis. Then after searching for a diagnosis for my Dad who started struggling to speak in 2018 he was finally diagnosed with a rare disease called Olivoponto Cerebellar Atrophy with MSA (multiple systems atrophy) and Parkinsonism. Sadly, there is no cure to stop the rapid progression of this disease and he can no longer walk easily, eat or communicate so I care for him now too. I also decided that if I can raise awareness of MSA and donate funds to their Trust as well, through Happiness Wrapped, then that's what I will do. Thanks for looking at my page, it means a lot. We will be here this Sunday between 10 and 4 enjoying the beautiful lakeside view, live music and a glass of mulled wine or two. Oh yes, and on our stall will be some cheeky hampers and socks, a few nice hampers too and other little gifts for Christmas. Come say hi, it'll be great to see you 😁
✨ Preparations are underway for our Mini Christmas Markets this weekend🎄
Our lakeside markets will have independent makers here from 10-4pm every Saturday and Sunday in December, with different stalls each week!
There will also be live music every weekend from 2-4 pm under our new sparkly tent!

When searching for hampers in late 2017 I couldn’t believe the limited choice available (mostly food and drink) and how expensive some of them were. This started me thinking about whether there was a gap in the market and whether to start a hamper business.
Then I put it on hold, when in 2018 my mum needed a mitral valve replacement, and we thought we were going to lose her. After spending three weeks visiting my mum at Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, on a daily basis, I couldn’t help but notice how dedicated and caring all of the staff were. On one of the days I noticed a forthcoming presentation on ‘robotic surgery’ so I decided to attend. I discovered how robotic surgery was less invasive on patients and listened with interest to the first patient at Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, who received robotic surgery, explain how he went home 4 days after surgery and was back at work 3 weeks later. This sounded like great news to me as it would mean more beds available for the NHS and improved recovery times for patients.
So, I then applied to be a Governor at the Hospital and was delighted when I was accepted. This led to me thinking how I could help raise money for the Hospital’s Charity department and how I could use a business as a vehicle to do this.
But, no sooner had I registered Happiness Wrapped Ltd I was diagnosed with breast cancer. So, I put the business on hold again whilst I received excellent care from Warrington & Halton Hospital, Breast Cancer Now (formerly Breast Cancer Care) and Clatterbridge Hospital in Aintree, where I underwent radiotherapy
During my visits to Clatterbridge, I was an emotional wreck. Seeing how ill some of the patients were made me want to help in any way I could and each day I counted my lucky stars for being one of the lucky ones. On the final day of my treatment I made the staff a ‘Easter’ hamper to say thank you and was delighted when a couple of people commented on how professional the hamper was and that I should start a business. As I rang the ‘end of treatment’ bell I made the decision to proceed full steam ahead with Happiness Wrapped and raise money for charity at the same time.
Happiness Wrapped Ltd is now set up and trading and operates on the basis that:
· 15% gross profit is donated to five charities from every sale. They are LHCH Charity, WHH Charity, Breast Cancer Now, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
· Hampers and gifts will be created for raffles throughout the year and donated to charity.
· Hampers & gift boxes will be branded to support charity colours, will only contain decent products and will provide good value for money.
· Happiness Wrapped Ltd will continue its mission for exploring ways of adding value to patients who use charity services.
