Border Custom Rods I now do the rod repairs for Total Angling Shrewsbury. All my blanks from Harrison Advanced Rods

I’ve been a fisherman for over 40 years now but a carp angler for 36years I got in to building rods due to having someone rebuild my Century Ng’s and to me they were not good enough so I decided to have a go myself and I’ve not looked back. I now do all the rod repairs at Total Angling Shrewsbury and I have just started buying my blanks from Harrison Advanced Rods however I will only build hi end

rods what I mean by that is all of my rods will have Alps real seats and Fuji three leg tangle free K series guides because if you like Fluorocarbon as a mainline the Fuji K series are a must. As I only build rod to order and of a very high standard, so if you want something a bit special then I’m only at the end of the phone so give me a call. All of my rods are sent out with free P&P United Kingdom
Excludes: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, PO Box

I’ve just built a new top section for a customer that had a set of three Torrix rods built by a custom rod builder from the midlands who wouldn’t message him back and didn’t want to know 😡 so if you are thinking about getting some custom rod building make sure if anything happens to your rods they are willing to put it right for you! As not all rod builders are the same especially once they’ve got your money

So much easier with an alcohol lamp using SupaDec methylated spirit to get the bubbles out
