The Lemon Tree The Lemon Tree Hello and welcome to The Lemon Tree! We are a family run business, making exclusive, handcrafted gifts, here on our beautiful island.

Our gorgeous items range from wonderful driftwood mirrors, to sparkling handpainted glassware, ranging from lanterns to wine glasses. We have handmade textiles, celtic creations, quirky signs and handcrafted cards, hand painted silk scarves by Local Simon Thorburn, and a range of watercolours by local artists Helen Pilgreen and Ronnie McNeish, with a pricetag to suit all sized pockets. We are only 15 minutes drive away from Brodick, in the Balmichael Visitor Centre, which also provides other lovely shops including a pottery where the kids can paint their own, a leather workshop with gorgeous handbags, hand made beaded jewellery, a craft supply shop, a wonderful selection of unique fused glassware, and the most wonderful quaint tearoom where you can get a scrummy homemade meal at a very reasonable price, or a gorgeous slice of homemade cake, for a special treat! There is a safe, enclosed play area for the children, trampolines, a pond full of hungry ducks, and if you are really lucky, you will spot the alligator! For the older children, there are archery lesssons and lazer shooting too. So, fun for all the family. We look forward to welcoming you to our little bit of Arran, and hope we make your magical time with us just that little bit more special.

We are having an open day at the Balmichael Visitor and Craft Centre for a lovely new shop called Pooch, selling beautiful handmade leather bags, cushions, etc. by Nici Boni. Arran Gems is also within Pooch. Tearooms now under new management with a scrummy menu. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday 2nd April between 12 and 5pm for the grand Pooch opening. Centre opens at 10am
