đşÂ Windsor Community Poppy Project â Letâs Make This Together đş
Who would love to see this artists impression, come to reality?  ...Itâs happening!
Throughout the next few months, Windsor people are coming together to create a powerful, largeâscale community remembrance installation made from thousands of handmade poppies. You can get involved!
Led by Craft Coop CIC, and working with The Royal British Legion, the Windsor Community Poppy Project invites people of all ages and abilities to take part in a shared act of remembrance, creativity and connection. The installation will be centred at St John the Baptist Church (Windsor Parish Church), forming the heart of a wider poppy trail across Windsor including locations such as Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground, Spital Cemetery and Broom Farm (subject to permissions).
đ§śÂ How you can get involved:
Make a poppy â knitted, crocheted, sewn, felted or created your own way
Join in as an individual, school, care home, community group or organisation
Take part using recycled plastic bottles â an accessible option for people with limited dexterity
Offer a soft pledge of how many poppies you might make to help organisers plan the display
Donate wool or materials, or support the project as a local sponsor
Every poppy matters - they donât have to be perfect. This project is about inclusion, remembrance and community spirit.
