🧵Don’t we all love a bit of crafting? I love taking the time to create, and it’s so satisfying when you see the end result.

I’m currently in the process of making some adjustable charity bracelets (£1 each and all proceeds go towards The Stroke Association).

I might follow up with a video a some point on how to make your own. I’m loving how simple and straightforward this bracelet is, you just need:

- two pieces of string (450mm each)
- three beads
- one head pin
- jewellery making pliers and snippers

🫖 Today I’ve been tapping into my Yorkshire roots. I was raised in North Yorkshire, Studied in East Yorkshire and have been permanently residing in West Yorkshire since 2016, the only place I haven’t lived is South Yorkshire (maybe one day).

It’s been a beautiful sunny day today here in Leeds, and this morning I ventured out to dispatch one of my Etsy orders.

I had a wander through and bought this beautiful print from

My partner and I often have quirky art and trinkets in the flat, usually handmade and from local artists, so I decided to treat myself to a new piece for our guest room, which also pictures well with the recent pink candles I’ve enjoyed making.

Inspired by Yorkshire, our Little Miss Yorkshire Gift Set is available on sale through my Etsy shop. 10% of each sale will be donated to my fundraiser for The Stroke Association UK.

This candle gift box is available in Soy or our blend of Soy and Beeswax and includes two handmade tea-lights.

Thank you to those of you who also purchased a Christmas Gift Box from me before the shop went live on Etsy on the 22nd December, and to those of you who have purchased from my shop or donated independently. So far you’ve helped to raise £50 for The Stroke Association UK.

I have now set up a JustGiving page for longer-term donations as our Instagram fundraiser is due to end shortly.

I’m really looking forward to creating more candles and crafts in the New Year, with the help of my sister, Joanna.

🕯Natural Tealights (5pk) £3

Our tealights are made from natural wax (soy and beeswax) with no added scents or artificial fragrances.

When I first started making wax melts for personal use I very quickly realised that candles and wax melts, although advertised as safe or toxic-free due to natural waxes used, would often include chemicals/fragrances which are harmful to human and pet health, as well as to our environment.

A few common examples you will often find on scented candles include:
- Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects
- Avoid release to the environment and if in contact with skin and eyes, rinse and wash immediately
- Dispose of contents in accordance with local regulations
- Avoid inhalation
- May cause an allergic skin reaction

As a result of these warnings when I was creating scented products, I decided I wasn’t comfortable selling goods which were both harmful to health and the environment, especially since I was trying to raise funds for a charity which is helping people who are suffering from ill-health.

Therefore I decided to make my products as natural as possible, using only soy and beeswax in the form of aesthetically pleasing pillar candles (our candles with beeswax give them a beautiful delicate honey scent 🍯)
