Three Peaks Models

We are pleased to announce that our Barton Leyland Lion LT5 bus model is now available to preorder, with orders being shipped from 1st July 2026.

We have two versions available: an early/open door version and a later closed door version. Alongside the door position, the two versions have a slight difference in the bonnet detailing, the front chassis details and the later version has a rear destination box on the roof that the early version does not.

The kit will include glazing, static wheels and for the first time extra detail on the underside of the interior piece showing the spare wheel, and chassis.

Transfers are not included in the kit, but we also have them available to purchase alongside the kit.

Both versions of the kit and all the transfers are available in O (1:43) 1:50, OO (1:76) and N (1:148). Kit prices N - £15, OO - £38, 1:50 £60, O - £70.

Over the next month, the our sole full-time staff member will be undergoing outpatient medical treatment. During this time, production and packaging times may be longer than normal - all customers will receive email notifications and tracking numbers once orders are shipped.

We are at the Rainhill Model Railway Club exhibition again today, 10.00-4.30, at Rainhill High School.

As an extra, we have raided our cupboards and drawers for all of the offcast items we've collected over the years, and are offering our factory seconds. Come and grab a bargain!

This weekend we are going to be at the Rainhill 2 Day exhibition at Rainhill High School, L35 6NY. It's the first time we've traded at this show, so we look forward to meeting everyone. 10am-5pm on Saturday the 7th, and 10am - 4.30pm on Sunday the 8th.

We are pleased to announce that our Oldham Leyland Atlantean is now available for preorder – we hope to start shipping models from the 31st of March.

We have both a one-door (H43/34F) and a two-door (H43/31D) version available.

O (1:43), 1:50, OO (1:76) and N (1:148) models are available.

Prices are as follows: N(1:148) - £18, OO (1:76) - £48, 1:50 - £80, O (1:43) - £95. Postage is free on all orders over £50, and from £4.20 for orders under £50.

Each unpainted model consists of a resin 3D printed body lower shell, upper shell, upper deck inside with seats, lower deck inside with seats, the four wheels. The steering wheel is part of the interior. The mirrors are modelled in place for N, but are separate for other scales.

This comes as an unpainted kit, with brass rod, precut windows and silver window bar stickers. The windows are fitted from the outside. The kit does not include transfers.

We wanted to share this picture we received from a customer who has been making use of our N (1:148) scale stepped cannon chimneys to upgrade the chimneys on their Metcalfe buildings.

In addition to our exhibitions from previous years, we will also be attending the following new shows:
- Rainhill MRC exhibition, 7-8 March, and likely their Christmas show in November
- Merseyside and SW Lancs Narrow Gauge group, 18 April, Rainhill Village Hall

As always, let us know if you would like us to bring any specific items to a show - we bring only a limited selection of stock, and items do often sell out! We are also able to arrange for orders to be collected at shows, to save on postage.
