Cabin breakfasts and evening meals are available for anglers who do not want to leave their rods. Included in the Package are a full English Breakfast and Evening Meal/Dessert with a drink. Fresh mains water is on site, and gas bottles, cooker and kettle are also included free of charge. And of course all your fishing equipment except your end tackle, alarms and reels. There is no w**d and no poisson chat. We offer the opportunity of catching some stunning carp, the largest to date is 71lb caught in 2020. There are a number of amazing specimens in the 60's, 50's, 40's and 30's group, but this is NOT a runs water so do not expect to catch lots of smaller fish. For the enthusiastic and dedicated angler who really wants to catch some huge lumps, and is prepared for a fight on their hands, this is the place for you. The carp are all in superb condition, and along with the natural food sources in the lake, we feed our fish throughout the year on protein pellet, and the growth rate is phenomenal. This really is a great fishing experience with the majority of our anglers exceeding their personal bests. We have a 24 hour Bailiff (Me: John) and I will advise and assist with fishing spots, fish care and photography when required . Our meal package is exceptional and we will always try and change according to individual preferences if possible. All our meals are freshly prepared and cooked. Come and take a piece of this tranquil haven, switch off, relax and enjoy our Carp Anglers Paradise that is LAC LES PINS.

w/c 16th May 2026

The weather started getting a lot warmer mid-week, reaching 30+ degrees for the last couple of days (almost 50 degrees in direct sunlight!). This obviously called for a swim in the lake to cool down for a couple of the lads 😂🥵😎

It was a steady week catch wise with 32 fish landed which included 3 60’s up to 64lb 8oz, and 5 fifties. New PB’s for Dave (64lb 8oz and winner of the groups Lac Les Pins trophy), Sam (64lb Common), Craig (60lb 14oz), Brian (59lb 4oz) and Jase (53lb 12oz), and Minty equalled his common PB, so a pretty good week and plenty of happy anglers 😊

The guys always have a themed colour t-shirt. This year it was pink which can be seen in the photos 🩷

Huge congratulations to all the guys on your PB’s and looking forward to seeing you all again next year 🎣 🐋

w/c 9th May 2026

After a fairly warm start to the week, the wind soon switched round to a northerly and was probably one of the coldest May weeks we’ve had in the last 8 years.

It was still a good week for Dave, Keatey, Jay, Ken, John and especially Griff who had an amazing session. After starting the week targeting a fifty, his first fish was a 62lb 8oz mirror, followed the next day by a 70lb 8oz Common and a couple more 60’s later in the week. John also landed a 64lber, with Keatey and Jay both achieving new PB’s of 62lb and 63lb respectively.

With 46 fish landed in total, all in all it was a very successful week.

Well done guys on all your PB’s and looking forward to your next trip later in the year.

A bit of a late update. We don’t know where the time has gone this week!

A mixed bag of weather last week with a fair bit of rain (although not as much as was forecast) and a bit of sun too. The fish were feeding well which was good news for Brian and Julie who had booked a lake exclusive.

A total of 36 fish landed with more than 80% coming out from evening time through to breakfast time. Brian achieved a high weight of 64lb 4oz and Julie, never to be outdone, landed a 66lb 12oz.
Their haul also included 8 fifties, 20 forties and a handful of smaller fish, with an average weight of 46lb 7oz which was amazing considering many of them have just recently spawned.

No photos of Julie because she only gets in a for a PB 😊

Thank you both for a nice, easy week and look forward again to your next trip.

w/c 25th April 2026

With the fishing tailing off towards the end of last week due to spawning, there was a little bit of apprehension as to whether things would pick up this week. No need to worry though as the fish were back on the munch from the first night.

All 6 anglers caught well with everyone landing a fish over 55lb. We finished the week with a total of 45 fish. The big girl made another appearance at 78lb and we had 6 new PB’s, with plenty of buckets 😂

Huge congratulations to Bob who achieved 3 PB’s (Linear, Mirror and Common), Justin on his PB Common, Mike with his 61lb Mirror and Ricky with the 78lber.

Thanks guys for a great week and we’ll see you all on your next trips.

w/c 18th April 2026

As mentioned in our last post a few days ago, the weather has been exceptionally warm for this time of year and caused some of the fish to start spawning. We could see early signs on Monday, then more signs as the week went on. The last time we had a spawn in April was back in 2019!

After a few missed opportunities and a few rig adjustments, the first half of the week started really with 22 fish landed by Tuesday. However, as sexy times intensified, the fish were definitely preoccupied on other things …. There were only 2 more landed for the remainder of the week resulting in 24 fish overall.

Big congratulations go to Derek for his new PB of 71lb which was almost as big as him! 😊

Early Spawning

Just a short mid-week update.

The water temperature has been rising steadily again so just a heads-up for those that are due in the next few weeks, some of the fish have started spawning. This was a bit of a surprise because the 2 stock ponds which are shallower haven’t started yet.

A good start to the week though with everybody having caught so far, and well done to Derek who has broken his PB with a 71lber.

A full update to follow at the end of the week.

w/c 11th April 2026

Typical in France for this time of year, we get teased with a week of warm sunny days, then 1 day of fairly heavy rain and the temperatures dropped to 10 degrees during the day and zero overnight for the first few days. The lake temperatures dropped at least 5 degrees as well.

The fish were showing all over the lake but were not too interested in feeding.

There were a few missed opportunities this week but 17 fish landed including 3 sixties up to 66lb and 4 fifties up to 58lb 8oz.

Congratulations this week go to Jerry and George who both beat their PB’s twice. Well done guys 😊

w/c 4th April 2026

What a huge difference in weather from anglers sitting shivering on the bank last week to sunbathing and sunburn this week. This also resulted in the lake temperatures increasing by up to 8 degrees in the space of a few days and the fish moving into shallower water. The deeper water was showing plenty of fish but very few pickups.

Big congratulations again to Martin on his 79lb PB and our new Mirror Lake Record.

The celebrations didn’t stop there though as some of the other big fish went on the munch resulting in an amazing session, especially for Lee who bagged a 137lb brace (68 mirror followed by a 69lb common PB) in the space of a few minutes!

31 fish landed with a total weight of 1,556 lb, including 79lb, 69lb, 68lb, 62lb, 61lb 8oz, 58lb x 2, 57lb, 56lb, 54lb x 2, 51lb, 50lb 4oz, 50lb, 13 forties to 49lb and 4 thirties.

Congratulations again to Martin and Lee on their PB’s and we’ll see you again same time next year 😊

Monday 6th April 2026

What an amazing start to the season already!

Just after midnight John was called to the lake to help with a fish.

Martin has been visiting Lac Les Pins for 17 or more years (long before our time) and has been hoping for a seventy for quite a while now, especially having just missed out by 4oz in 2021.

After a bit of a winding up by John who said it was a sixty before it hit the scales, Martin has now not only achieved his dream 70, he SMASHED IT with a 79lb Mirror and new LAKE RECORD for us.

If any of our anglers deserve this, it has to be Martin!

Happy Easter everyone

w/c 28th March 2026

Last week we welcomed our first guests of the season; a lake exclusive for Colin, Dave and John accompanied by Tina and Hollie.

It was mostly a dry week but with a northerly wind, it felt bitter cold so the anglers made the most of the new protective sheets on the canopies!

It was a bit of a slow start, but the fish were being caught consistently from the early hours of Tuesday onwards.

21 fish landed in total which included 3 sixties up to 67lb, 6 fifties including another beautiful big Lin at 55lb 10oz, and 8 forties.

Well done to John who landed the 67lb and set himself a new PB.

Looking forward to seeing you again on your next trip.

Last week we had a short visit from our friends which was a nice warm up for us before we start the new season this weekend.

We had some sunny days, but the cold frosty nights made the fishing a little tricky.

9 fish landed with a top weight of 52lb, and all looking in good condition.
