Guten Morgen mit guten Nachrichten🎉: Unser Kulturlabor geht weiter! Wir nehmen wieder Bewerbungen an. Nachstehend findet ihr alle Infos, deshalb gibt es jetzt auch einen etwas längeren Post 🙂
Good morning to all cultural workers and artists from Frankfurt & Offenbach and the Rhine-Main area (English version below), we have good news for you.
Mit dem Kulturlabor haben wir in der Berliner Straße 32 in Frankfurt einen temporären Ort für Kunst, Musik, Literatur, Film und Performance geschaffen. Jeweils von Donnerstag bis Sonntag konnten Besucher:innen großartige Kultur live erleben und sich die Einzelausstellungen und die Werke der Petersburger Hängung anschauen. Mehr als 100 Künstler:innen aller Disziplinen und Sparten waren vertreten. Es war ein vielseitiges, spannendes Programm, für das wir sowohl vom Publikum, der Presse, als auch von den Künstler:innen viele positive Rückmeldungen bekommen haben. Herzlichen Dank an dieser Stelle allen, die mitgemacht und ihre Kunst gezeigt haben, ob auf der Bühne, oder hängend an den Wänden.
Das großartige Feedback von so vielen von Euch hat uns angespornt und nach Gesprächen mit dem Vermieter ist es uns gelungen den Zwischennutzungsvertrag zu verlängern. Es geht also weiter.
Allerdings nur an den Freitagen im März und April - wir sind alle berufstätig und können das sonst nicht stemmen. Zudem möchten wir uns auch noch um unseren Verein beziehungsweise die Künstler:innen-Förderung kümmern, mit der wir im Frühjahr 2020 begonnen haben. Weitere Infos dazu nachstehend sowie auf

📌Wichtige Infos:
Im Prinzip geht auf unserer kleinen Bühne fast alles: Theater, Lesungen, Live-Musik etc. Es gibt aber ein paar wichtige Infos, die ihr wissen müsst:
👉Unsere Veranstaltungen finden aktuell (Stand 1.2.2022) unter 2GPlus statt. D.h. wir lassen ausschließlich Menschen ins Kulturlabor, die geimpft und geboostert sind und wenn nicht geboostert, dann müssen alle einen tagesaktuellen negativen Bürgertest vorweisen.
👉Im Kulturlabor ist Maskenpflicht, auftretende Künstler*innen müssen auf der Bühne keine Maske tragen.
👉Wir lassen nicht mehr als 25 Gäste ins Kulturlabor (dann ist es auch voll)
👉Wir übertragen den Ton auf die Straße, d.h. Menschen die auf dem Bürgersteig stehen, hören die Darbietungen.
👉Die Darbietungen finden im Schaufenster statt. Spielrichtung ist i.d.R. in den Raum, ihr könnt aber auch nach Draußen spielen.
👉Folgendes Equipment gibt es vor Ort (wenn ihr andere Sachen braucht, müsst ihr diese bitte mitbringen): 2 Lautsprecher, 4 Mikros, 2 x DJC, 2 Plattenspieler, 1 Mischpult, 1 Rückpro-Leinwand (d.H. man sieht auch von der Straße), Bühnenlicht,1 Beamer, diverse Stühle und Hocker, 1 Notenständer, 1 Tisch
👉Die Darbietungen sollten mindestens 30 Minuten dauern und höchstens 60 Min (Ausnahme DJ Sets, die gehen 90 Min)
👉Folgende Freitage stehen zur Verfügung: 4., 11., 18., 25. 3. und 1., 8., 15., 22. 4.2022
👉Petersburger Hängung: Leider ist der Platz begrenzt, wir versuchen jedoch alle Werke an der Wand unterzubringen
👉Einzelausstellung: Leider nur zwei Ausstellungen: eine im März, eine im April
👉Unsere Programmgruppe versucht ein gut durchmischtes Programm zu machen. Wir planen jedoch in folgenden Zeitfenstern:
👉ruhigere Darbietungen (Lesungen, klassische Musik, Filme, Performance): zwischen 19:00 und 20:00 Uhr
👉Live Musik/Bands: zwischen 20:00-21:30 Uhr
👉DJs bekommen immer den Slot von 21:30-23:00 Uhr
👉Wir zahlen jeder auftretenden Person eine Aufwandsentschädigung von 100,- €. Das Geld bekommt ihr überwiesen.
👉Alle Musiker:innen müssen uns eine Set List geben. Am besten noch am selben Abend, da wir alle Veranstaltungen bei der GEMA melden müssen.
👉Sobald euer Auftritt zugesagt wurde brauchen wir von euch einen kleinen Pressetext und auf jeden Fall ein rechtefreies Foto.
👉Wir machen das alle im Ehrenamt, d.h. habt bitte Verständnis, wenn es vielleicht mal ruckelt...bisher waren aber alle ganz happy!
👉Das März Programm wollen wir bis zum 10.2. fertig haben, das April Programm bis zum 10.3.

👉Das Kulturzeiterin-Labor:
Ende Oktober 2021 konnten wir ein Ladengeschäft in der Frankfurter Innenstadt zur Interimsnutzung anmieten und haben darin die Idee des Kulturlabors entwickelt. Das Labor ist ein kleines Ladengeschäft in der Berliner Straße mit einer Gesamtfläche von 90 Quadratmetern auf drei Etagen. Es gibt eine Teeküche, WC und ein vier Quadratmeter großes Schaufenster, das wir zur Bühne gemacht haben. Auf dieser ist (fast) alles möglich: Lesungen, kleine Theaterstücke, Musikdarbietungen (maximal 4 Musiker*innen, je nach Körper- und Instrumentengröße), Diskussionen, Kurzfilme, Puppentheater, DJ Sets, Performances etc. Bereits von dir Aufgeführtes, Erarbeitetes, Geschriebenes – als auch etwas ganz Neues, Unfertiges, was du gerne einem kleinen Publikum präsentieren möchtest: Das Labor steht dir frei.
Die Wände des Labors haben wir für Einzelausstellungen und eine Petersburger Hängung Fotografien, Gemälde, Drucke, etc. genutzt, das soll auch in der zweiten Spielzeit so sein.
👉Wer sind wir - Infos zu den Kulturzeiter*innen:
Wir, die Initiative Kulturzeiterin entstand im ersten Corona-Lockdown im Frühjahr 2020 spontan, um Kulturschaffende aus Frankfurt a.M. und Offenbach a.M., die durch die Corona-Pandemie in Not geraten sind, schnell und unbürokratisch finanziell zu unterstützen. Wir haben bisher mehr als 300.000 Euro Spenden erhalten und konnten damit schon 600 Mal 500 Euro auszahlen, Zudem haben wir mit unserer Website
https://www.kulturzeiterin.de eine Plattform geschaffen, auf der sich viele Musiker*innen, Bildende Künstler*innen, Filmleute, Schauspieler*innen, Komponist*innen und andere Kreative präsentieren und die auch über die Corona-Pandemie hinaus Kulturschaffende aus der Region vernetzt, die Vielfalt der Kultur darstellt. Für unser Engagement wurden wir 2020 mit der Walter Möller Plakette der Stadt Frankfurt ausgezeichnet.
Im September 2020 wurde aus der Initiative der Verein Kulturzeiter*innen e.V., und vom Finanzamt als gemeinnützig anerkannt. Kultur ist systemrelevant, daher möchten wir uns auch über die Nothilfe hinaus für Kunst und Kultur einsetzen und verstehen uns inzwischen als politisch unabhängige gesellschaftliche Interessenvertretung für Kulturschaffende in Frankfurt, Offenbach und Rhein-Main.

We have good news: our Kulturlabor will continue!
We are accepting applications again.
As you may have noticed, in the last few months we have created a place for art, music, literature, film and performance with the Kulturlabor of our association Kulturzeiter*innen e.V. at Berliner Straße 32 in Frankfurt.
From Thursday to Sunday, visitors could experience great culture live and view the solo exhibitions and the works of the Petersburger Hängung. More than 100 artists of all disciplines and genres were represented. It was a varied, exciting programme for which we received a lot of positive feedback from the public, the press and the artists.
Many thanks to all who participated and showed their art, whether on stage or hanging on the walls.
The great feedback from so many of you has spurred us on and after discussions with the landlord we have managed to extend the interim use contract.
So it will go on.
However, only on Fridays in March and April - we all have jobs and can't manage otherwise. In addition, we would like to take care of our association and the support for artists, which we started in spring 2020. More information on this below and at

General infos
👉In principle, almost anything goes on our little stage: theatre, readings, live music, etc. But there are a few important things you need to know:
👉Our events currently (as of 1.2.2022) take place under 2GPlus. This means that we only allow people into the Kulturlabor who have been vaccinated and boostered, and if they are not boostered, then they all have to show a negative citizenship test that is current on the day.
👉Masks are compulsory in the Kulturlabor; performing artists do not have to wear masks on stage.
👉We do not allow more than 25 guests into the Kulturlabor (then it is also full).
👉We transmit the sound to the street, i.e. people standing on the pavement can hear the performances.
👉The performances take place in the shop window. Playing direction is usually into the room, but you can also play outside.
👉The following equipment is available on site (if you need other things, please bring them with you): 2 loudspeakers, 4 microphones, 2 x DJC, 2 turntables, 1 mixing desk, 1 rear projection screen (i.e. you can also see from the street), stage light, 1 beamer, various chairs and stools, 1 music stand, 1 table.
Performances should last at least 30 minutes and at most 60 minutes (except DJ sets, which last 90 minutes).
The following Fridays are available: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th 3 and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd 4.2022
👉Petersburger Hängung: unfortunately, we only have limited space on the walls. However, we´ll try to integrate all artworks
There are just two time frames for exhibitions: one in march and one in april)
👉Our programme group tries to make a well-mixed programme. However, we plan in the following time slots:
👉quieter performances (readings, classical music, films, performance): between 19:00 and 20:00
👉Live music/bands: between 20:00-21:30
👉DJs always get the slot from 21:30-23:00
👉We pay each performing person an expense allowance of 100,- €. The money will be transferred to you.
👉All musicians have to give us a set list. This is best done on the same evening, as we have to register all events with GEMA.
👉As soon as your performance has been confirmed, we need a short press release and a copyright-free photo.
👉We are all doing this on a voluntary basis, so please understand if things get a bit bumpy...but so far everyone has been very happy!
👉We want to have the March programme ready by 10.2. and the April programme by 10.3.
That means we will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Kulturzelterin-Labor:
At the end of October 2021, we were able to rent a retail store in downtown Frankfurt for interim use and developed the idea of the Kulturlabor in it. The lab is a small retail store on Berliner Straße with a total area of 90 square meters on three floors. There is a kitchenette, WC and a four square meter shop window, which we have turned into a stage. On this stage (almost) everything is possible: readings, small theater plays, music performances (maximum 4 musicians, depending on body and instrument size), discussions, short films, puppet theater, DJ sets, performances, etc. What you have already performed, worked on, written - as well as something completely new, unfinished, which you would like to present to a small audience: The lab is yours.
We have used the walls of the laboratory for solo exhibitions and a Petersburg style hanging of photographs, paintings, prints, etc., and this will continue in the second season.
Who are we - information about the Kulturzeiter*innen:
We, the initiative Kulturzeiterin arose spontaneously in the first Corona lockdown in the spring of 2020, in order to quickly and unbureaucratically financially support cultural workers from Frankfurt a.M. and Offenbach a.M., who were in need due to the Corona pandemic. So far, we have received more than 300,000 euros in donations and have already been able to pay out 500 euros 600 times. In addition, with our website
https://www.kulturzeiterin.de, we have created a platform on which many musicians, visual artists, film-makers, actors, composers and other creative people present themselves and which also networks cultural workers from the region beyond the Corona pandemic and presents the diversity of culture. In 2020, we were awarded the Walter Möller Plaque of the City of Frankfurt for our commitment.
In September 2020, the initiative became the association Kulturzeiter*innen e.V., and recognized by the tax office as a non-profit organization. Culture is system-relevant, so we would like to support art and culture beyond emergency aid and now see ourselves as a politically independent social interest group for cultural workers in Frankfurt, Offenbach and the Rhine-Main region.
