Last weekend we’ve been in on a festival of old
where my daughter insisted she will be riding her which we now use for decorating our old . Thanks to the chilling weather of the we had the chance to wear a jacket given as present by our friend .szyje who seeks the finest vintage denim jackets to combine them with his Japanese heritage, elements of Obi♥️

We know this might sound a little peculiar, drinking Barolo on a sunny day. Barolo is mainly considered an evening type of wine, ideally in the presence of a nice meal. We get it; we also understand where that comes from.

A few years ago, I used to live in Munich and enjoy all those fantastic relaxing locations this city offers. I wish I knew back then that Barolo can be made in a very particular style, where the power and tension can be unified with that swift finesse. So are the wines from Diego Morra - they bring the best of La Morra and Verduno and put it in one. These are the Barolo wines, which can be easily enjoyed at the river bank, in a park or anywhere else. And because of their character - they won't tire and wear you out, as many of the well-known heavy Barolos will.

"Zinzasco" is an imaginative name for a small path that joins Verduno with La Morra. The Barolo "Zinzasco" combines qualities of two very different soils, terroirs and unique microclimates. The grapes are sourced from 10 1st class Crus - 7 of those are in the township of Verduno and 3 in La Morra. The location in Verduno is exposed to the cooling alpine winds, which, combined with high sun exposure and low rainfall, enables Diego Morra to produce wines of great elegance and finesse.

I met some old friends and some new ones which I will be more than delighted to introduce you to in the coming days.
