n week 2009 finale show. Today the creative Mother of one has launched a new endeavor, a fashion forward body positive blog in hopes to inspire readers world wide how to express themselves through what so she calls “The story of style” and how to find the resources to do it.
“I want this Blog to be a creative and interactive experience for my reader” says Reid. Her goal is to become a house hold name among the body positive movement and to help reinforce the message to Women world wide that being beautiful and confident has nothing to do with size. She encourages her readers to subscribe, post and share with a friend as she highlights up coming body positive events in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond with a focus to help this community of Woman to come together support each other and most importantly to be encouraged and uplifted by these experiences.

There will always be something about the body positive space/ fat positive spaces that will forever have a place in my heart! After being locked down in my apartment for over two years due to covid! It felt nice to get out and mingle with beautiful well dressed humans of all shapes and sizes again.
I personally have been struggling with body image issues for two years now! I haven’t been posting as much because 1) I am struggling with my own image and 2) I can’t lie I am an OG blogger and this new influencer space is intimidating. All these perfectly edited videos and content has me and my dusty iPhone 11 shook! Lol
But tonight I was reminded that the conversation surrounding body positivity / fat positivity will never end! We need to continue to champion and create spaces where all bodies feel loved and celebrated not just tolerated.
Being pampered, and celebrated inside Toronto’s own More 2 Love Bridal]] tonight did something wonderful to my spirit that I haven’t felt in a long time.
I simply felt seen!

Truth is I work from home, and have for the past two years. My personal daily style has dwindled down to leggings, workout gear and the occasional ill fitting crop top!
I miss getting dressed up and expressing myself through fashion and style, but I can also acknowledge the gratitude I feel to be able to work from home, heal from a manic episode I had two years ago as well as have the ability to ease into my workday.
I am the primary guardian and caregiver to My Teenage Daughter who lives with the exceptionality of Autism. So being at home these past few years has been a huge blessing come true.
I am sharing this to say, I really don’t know if in this season of my life I identify with “The Stylish Reid” anymore!
Fashion and Style will always be apart of me, but there is so much more to my story. I am definitely in a prayerful time of my life as I am asking the Most High to help me figure it out.
There may be some changes, there may not be but I can say is I truly appreciate each of you that have journeyed with me all these years.
