✨ Why is everyone obsessed with microneedling? ✨
As someone who’s had this treatment done twice now (and is certified to perform it myself 🙋🏻♀️), I totally understand the hype.
Microneedling works by creating thousands of tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin. Sounds scary, but these micro-injuries trigger your body’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating fresh collagen and elastin production.
Translation? 👇🏻
✨ Smoother skin texture
✨ Softer fine lines and wrinkles
✨ Reduced appearance of acne scars
✨ More even skin tone
✨ Less visible hyperpigmentation
✨ Firmer, plumper-looking skin
✨ Smaller-looking pores
And because the skin is busy repairing itself, the improvements continue developing for weeks after your treatment.
Personally, I have oily skin with enlarged pores, some hyperpigmentation, and a few old acne scars. Microneedling has been one of the most noticeable treatments I’ve tried. My skin looks smoother, healthier, more plump, and my pores appear much less obvious.
The important part? ⚠️
This isn’t a treatment you want done by someone who watched a few TikToks and bought a device online. Needle depth, skin assessment, sanitation, contraindications, treatment protocols, and post-care all matter. A properly trained professional knows how to customize the treatment safely and effectively for your skin goals.
It’s one of those treatments where technique truly matters.
Have you ever had microneedling done? I’d love to hear about your experience! 👇🏻
