Join us for an epic mountain biking adventure photoshoot (and enjoy some brews on us!)

In partnership with Travel Penticton, we're planning a series of photoshoots to showcase the breathtaking beauty of our local mountain biking trails and the vibrant lifestyle of our community.

As riders who appreciate both the thrill of the trail and the flavor of local craft beer, we knew this group would be the perfect place to find participants.

We're seeking enthusiastic mountain bikers to join us. Imagine greeting the day's first golden rays on the trails you love, then wrapping up under the warm glow of the setting sun - all on your bike!

We're on the hunt for 3-4 riders for each location, where we'll capture some of the most scenic trails in our network.

But the adventure doesn't stop at the trails! We're also organizing lifestyle shoots at various local breweries. The timing for these brewery shoots is flexible and can be arranged based on your availability.

Here are the shoots we need riders for:

(please note, actual ride time will not span the entire duration. Photoshoots involve plenty of stops to capture the perfect shot, so you don't need to be an endurance fiend to join us)

· Three Blind Mice Trails: May 29th, 4:30 am-8:30 am, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Accompanying Brewery Shoot: Abandoned Rail (date & time TBD)

· Wiltse Trails: June 15th, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Accompanying Brewery Shoot: Neighbourhood (date & time TBD)

· Skaha Bluffs Trails: June 19th, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Accompanying Brewery Shoot: Slackwater (date & time TBD)

· Apex Trails: July 18, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Aug 30: 5:30 am – 9:30 am

Accompanying Brewery Shoot: Tin Whistler (date & time TBD)

It's that time of the year again!
April 16th marks the perennial Trail Captain dig day. Pick a trail, bring a shovel, a rake and your best friends.

DATE: April 16, 2022
TIME/ PLACE: 9:30am at Poplar Grove Parking Lot

Trail Captain(s) will walk their given trail(s) and carry out basic maintenance duties!
🙌🏻We need 40 plus volunteers to cover all of the trails!
This is probably the most important volunteer trail day of the year!
Other important info:
🧤Work gloves, appropriate clothing, snacks and water
🪚Bring hand tools: fan rakes or garden rakes, shovels; and some type of sheers or handsaw

👦🏻Children are welcome accompanied by an adult.
🐶Dogs are welcome if they are agreeable with other dogs and people.
☕️We will have a check in at 9:30 am where you can grab a coffee and a baked good.

DEMO DAY ANNOUNCEMENT!

On Saturday April 15th. Starting at 10am with last rides out at 3pm

Rocky Mountain Bicycles will be set up at the Three Blind Mice parking lot with their 2023 demo fleet! A great opportunity to try out your new dream bike. Credit card and drivers license required for demos. Reservations are not necessary but recommended to ensure they have the model you want available.

Must bring your own helmet and is recommended that you bring your own pedals, although flats and Shimano SPD pedals can be provided.

Geoff said he will wear a Speedo to work next week if we sell 5 Fat bikes on Saturday. I’d suggest coming in and getting a great deal on a new bike on Saturday and then not coming in next week 😂.
