Studio B Collective is so proud to welcome Angela McQueen — a hairstylist and makeup artist with roots in Toronto’s theatrical world, including years of work with Mirvish Productions.
Angela is now booking at our beautiful new Suite 7 at Hope Bay.
Soft opening this weekend — come say hi. Angela will be here Friday 11–3. Good energy, a gorgeous new space, two artists excited to be here.
Live events, workshops, and more are coming. This is just the beginning.

We had such a magic night in February and we’re doing it again. 🌙
This is a space for songwriters and musicians to share new and original material — finished or not — in the most supportive musical environment on the island. First time performers are always welcome and encouraged.
This is the perfect weather for writing music. We want to hear what you’ve been working on. ✨

Hey Hope Bay family and beyond 🌿💛
Big things are happening at Studio B Collective and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
Our retail floor is taking an intentional breather while some very exciting changes take shape behind the scenes — and trust us, it is going to be worth the wait.
What we CAN tell you is that the hair studio is absolutely open and thriving, we have some incredible new additions coming to the collective this summer, and there is so much creativity and community goodness on the horizon that we can barely contain ourselves.
We are not going anywhere. We are just getting ready for something really good. 🌊✨
Stay tuned — the best chapter of Studio B Collective is just beginning.

Pender Island was once called the worst place to bike.
This week, that changed.
Schooner Way Trail officially opened March 25th — a 2-km off-road multi-use corridor where kids can bike to school and everyone can move through this island more safely. Some are already calling it Pender’s new linear park.
Behind it is community builder Rob Fawcett, who spent years navigating provincial bureaucracy, no municipal government, and helped raise $150,000 in community pledges to unlock a BC Active Transportation grant.
