Grammy award-winning drummer Larnell Lewis Music and internationally celebrated steelpan artist Joy Lapps Music bring the Larnell Lewis Band to our NEW Elgin St. Stage at Ottawa Jazz Festival on June 19th!

A core member of Snarky Puppy and one of today’s most in-demand collaborators, Lewis has toured the globe with icons including Quincy Jones and Lalah Hathaway, while leading his own projects, including his JUNO-nominated album Slice of Life. Joining him is Joy Lapps, an award-winning composer and steelpan virtuoso whose community-centered artistry has lit up major festivals across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean, blending deep musical tradition with vibrant, participatory performance.
