Or more importantly, what is not happening.

Promoting a great Store Manager into a District Manager role does not automatically make them ready to lead multiple stores.

The role changes fast.

Suddenly, they are expected to coach through others, influence from a distance, drive consistency, manage performance, analyze results, and build accountability across an entire territory.

That is a very different skill set.

And too often, DMs are expected to figure it out on their own.
