I really love my Cookie Cutter Dabber. I love how it cuts out a plug of extract just like a skin biopsy. It has a very surgical feel to it and also has a ball point dabber on the other end. This tool works best on more malleable type extracts like rosin, waxes, pull’n’snap and others. It doesn’t work well on the kind of shatter that is more of a glass type solid.

On hand is some Venom OG Live Rosin that is truly spectacular. A little too much if you have some stuff to do, but the taste is one that has you coming back for more even though you don’t really need it. So terpy.

I usually just worry about getting the best buds possible and use them to make my own rosin at home. I have been pretty curious to try some of the concentrates from the legal channels like the OCS and others. This is the first shatter, or any concentrate other than a v**e pen 510/pax era pod, purchase I made. I was particularly curious how the legal version of turned out and they had 0.5g available so I gave it a shot.

It was a little over purged for my liking, I like a little flex in my shatter so it doesn’t just turn to dust or go flying everywhere when you try to snap off a piece.
This is really not that concerning, but when there is a market flooded with product, I have plenty of other choices available and will stick to either another batch or brand altogether if it’s more of the consistency I favour.

Aside from the crumbly and difficult to work with nature the effects were pleasant and focused and not too overwhelming.

The most points are lost during the consumption experience as it had this taste that sort of had a greasy/oily/gas quality to it. Not in a good way, I the taste was sort of reminiscent of the smell when using wd-40 or something similar.

When Dymond used to be a black brand occasionally their product had that off taste and it isn’t present in other concentrates that were similarly priced in the market.

It’s been way too long since I last posted and even longer since I last posted on a regular basis. I continue to and have been collecting plenty of content for future use. I’ll be trying to post as often as I can.

Louis had his neutering appointment today. He’s adjusting to his cone pretty well after lots of backing up and jumping in the air like he’s trying to jump out of it. I loosened the collar a touch from how the vet had set it and Louis seemed a bit more at ease. Hopefully he heals up nice and quickly and then he’ll be free of the collar.

Say hello to my new best cat buddy, King Louis XII. He’s a Lilac Point Siamese and the result of almost 8 months of waiting for a male and I was even open to the colour. I originally wanted a Blue Point and then opened up to both the Lilac and Chocolate Points. Once I met this little guy I thought he was more handsome than my wildest expectations and now maybe my favourite colour of the original four colour points.

He came home with me Oct 10th and really adjusted very quickly, showing an eager confidence in exploring his limited surroundings. It took him maybe 5 mins and he was already jumping on my knees for pets and putting and head butts. He’s also quite intelligent, which is one of the more notable traits the breed has. He LOVES playing fetch, just like a dog and he’ll bring it to you on the couch or just drop it at your feet. I absolutely adore everything about the Siamese breed. The one thing is they can’t be left alone, you would need another cat if they are alone all the time as they will get depressed and will be so lonely. Also they are a lot of work compared to your typical house cat that’s just there.

One of my favourite parts of taking a trip up to Gravenhurst is getting to make a stop at

Part of what makes the experience so wonderful is the incredibly knowledgeable staff that could easily be “beer sommeliers”. The experience as a result is remarkably fulfilling with lots of valuable information which shapes the way you see and taste beer. Plus, when you leave you are far more confident when it comes to all things beer. With the guidance of their staff you can discover new and wonderful new tastes and some very unique varieties. You leave having learned more about beer than you ever thought possible while also broadening your horizons as much as you desire.

This West Coast IPA was incredibly refreshing, great for those summer afternoons/evening. I am not a huge IPA fan, but this one was a treat when served nice and cold.

“Black Cherry Punch” from the is one of my top choices when it comes to the flower I always keep on hand. What makes this one special. The broad application of it’s analgesic properties alone make this a very special plant. It appears to have an almost uninhibited therapeutic potential. From pain and anxiety management to mood augmentation, managing any mood issues as they arise.

At times, depending on where I am mood-wise as well and how anxious I may fell, consuming cannabis just makes thing more confusing and unsettling. Sure the pain is still being managed, but not anything else. So far one of maybe 5 strains in my lifetime that didn’t make my low mood devastatingly worse.

Black Cherry Punch from works pretty swell leaving your in a state of rare bliss. As I imagine how someone would feel/appear after leaving a massage therapy appointment or maybe the chiropractor. I just picture everyone on their way in with canes and walkers to people walking out tossing the same canes and etc they needed going in.

Not only does this stuff have almost all the goods, but the smell is just so exemplary it goes beyond the limit of measure we normally set like a 5/5, this should be a 6/5 for a variety of reasons. If there was a Cannabis Cup based just on smell and taste this would undoubtedly be a finalist, most likely a winner. Thanks to as well for facilitating all of this, including the current Edison product lineup.

There are really some fantastic places to head out for a nice walk and get a chance to take in a little nature. Unfortunately the nicest of the accessible parks get quite packed and I don’t enjoy having to manoeuvre around excited children, pets and just other groups of people. I prefer to get there in the morning when it opens and you have plenty of breathing room.

We were in for a little bit of a treat as apparently it is Trillium season in and as we traversed the woodland trails at Rattlesnake Point for some exercise and fresh air.

It’s commonly believed that it’s illegal to pick the White Trillium as it’s a protected flower. In some cases, such as on government property and conservation area and likely also provincial parks you would be offending if you pick them, but on private property there is no issue.

Interestingly, most conservationists and lovers of the Trillium are happy enough with the confusion around picking them as it seems to deter the behaviour and helps to protect the fragile plant. These delicate flowers and can take 7-10 years before they first bloom and can take years to recover from trauma if they ever did at all.

This “Jolly Rancher FSE Caviar” is not perfect, but it still has a few notable qualities that make it a worthwhile choice. It has a particularly strong effect and can help you find some much needed peace. The only downside is that it comes with a very difficult to manage sleepiness making it difficult to function a full capacity. Part of me thinks that very reason is why it helps so effectively as it not only interrupts the pain, but the psychoactive potential helps to further insulate you as you gain access to the IDGAF Lounge where you can start to tune out the pain until it’s just background noise.

This more recent batch of “Ice Cream Cake” from the line is one of the few that is a regular part of my ordering. I just can’t get enough of that delicate sweetness that reminds me of icing sugar and pound cake. All of that and it’s still more than potent enough for all your needs. It has excellent flexibility being something you can use continually from morning to night by just moderating your doses and the benefits appear to maintain their level of effectiveness.

I found this to be an exceptional help managing my moderate-severe osteoarthritic pain as well as helping to manage my anxiety so it isn’t feeding back into the cause and making it worse or lengthening the duration of discomfort.

Edison Co as they have now launched a premium line which funny enough, the Edison line was originally the premium line by “Organigram” which consisted of only the tops of the plants and while it was a little pricey it was really something to see such chunky, trichome rich and healthy looking buds so consistently. I am under the impression that this is what their new premium line will consist of and I hope all of the strains I’ve started to rely on don’t get replaced for inferior versions. We’ll have to see when I order more.

Check out this “Amnesia x Super Haze” that was available fairly recently in Ontario under the .brand branding. The pricing was the reason I didn’t question my selection and my selection was made because of the two strains being crossed. I was happy to see buds of both a healthy size and sporting a glistening coat of trichomes. It had a pretty pronounced lemon zest to it that was almost a little heavier on the sour side. The moisture content was really just right for consumption and also easy to maintain with a pack stored with it.

While this cultivar was fairly potent, just over 20%, the highly reliable effects helped a great deal with chronic pain (both neuropathic and osteoarthritic), offering both consistent and predictable. Oftentimes, when I am using THC dominant varieties for managing my pain, I find myself on the verge of feeling inebriated, even if just the slightest bit. On many occasions where I find cannabinoid based therapy to be most suitable and particularly if it helps, you’ll have to deal with the potential psychoactive effects that often accompany certain relief. Although, with the appropriate guidance and approach, you can manage to often decrease your sensitivity to certain effects through continued and controlled exposure. Until that point you will have to just be extra cautious.
