The Lotus Flower grows and thrives in the most muddiest and murkiest of waters. It flourishes in the most unlikely conditions. Always growing and reaching for the sunlight. Despite its dark, muddy environment, the Lotus Flower blooms without evidence of dirt or mud on its vibrant petals.

The lesson learned here, is that despite our current physical environment, we can look to how we can use it to learn and grow. Despite our current mental state, we can persist to seek the light. Despite any hardships we can be confident that we are as strong as the Lotus.

We are never less worthy because of our lived experiences. We cannot control what happens in the world around us, we can ONLY control how we react and how we allow it to touch our lives.

So today and from this day forward, choose to react with confidence, with a feeling of worthiness, with inner strength, with positivity, with love and with light.

You are worthy of happiness, love, laughter, abundance and healing. Choose to accept and invite selflove and positivity into your heart and mind.

Because you are totally worth it!

Today I begin my journey into the land of Journaling. A powerful tool to help me align my thoughts, manifest my desires, and feel calm and grounded.

So why choose Journaling?

Before solidifying a decision to participate in the act of Journaling I consciously reflected on what the benefits might be.

I came up with four ways in which Journaling should impact your life.

1. To be EMPOWERED. To rediscover both your conscious and unconscious voice.

2. To be MINDFUL. To be in the moment. To benefit from the mind-body and body-mind connection, as your mind formulates words to describe what your body feels and then signals your body to express it through the movement of the creation of words.

3. To be NON-JUDGMENTAL. Only you will read and experience what is written. Be non-judgmental of yourself. Instead release and align with your true self.

4. To be INTENTIONAL. Intentionally process thoughts and feelings. Make time to do this self-care and self-love ritual. The action of Journaling must be inspired meaningful intentional action.

EMPOWERED, MINDFUL, NON-JUDGMENTAL, INTENTIONAL.

This is what I will invite into my life today.
