Here are 8 Simple Tips for Landing Each Sale:
Ensure your products are well presented and shelves are free of dust.
Listen to your Customers paying attention to what they are requesting. Ask if they need any assistance while allowing them to freely browse in your store. You can have an eye, and be ready to answer any questions, but do not hover.
Do not stereotype persons based on their culture or dress.
Cross-selling is great for business, but trying to push all the items in your store at the Customer, is a clear signal you are only interested in the sale and not catering to their specific needs. The key is to make sure Customers are satisfied with their purchases and they will return.
Smile with your body language. A smile on the face will not hide your posture and willingness to serve Customers.
Do not ignore the Customer in-front of you, be polite and try not to let the telephone ring more than three times. That call may too be a potential sale.
Train, your Staff and know your products.
Remember, it is not your products or services that pays you, your Customers do.
