We’ve missed having ready-to-go awning products within a hand’s reach away from our workstations. Since moving into our new factory in South Windsor (only a couple of months before the 2021 lockdowns), we were left without a showroom for quite some time to showcase the ‘end result’ of what we do. It’s exciting to see our new showroom as working progress.

This month Joe and the entire team celebrate Dalekit’s 25th Birthday. 25 isn’t just a big number - it’s a quarter of a century and a huge milestone for Dalekit’s growth in the industry. Starting from humble beginnings as a small father and son business (Joe and Josip), Dalekit has made amazing transformations, some recents being moving into our behemoth-sized factory, purchasing a state-of-the-art fabric screen cut machine, building and upskilling the team, the development of window furnishings products and much much more…

A special and HUGE thanks to all our loyal customers and suppliers - the business truly would not be the same without the continuous support and the daily orders coming through. This certainly isn’t a ‘thank you it’s over’ type of thank you. This is a ‘thank you, let’s live on and continue to do the amazing work we do together'.

Also, a massive thanks to the team for leading Dalekit to the benchmark and making the company the family it is today.

📣We are currently looking for a strong, energetic and reliable Factory Labourer/General Hand to join our Stores Team based in South Windsor.

The right candidate will need to help with inwards goods receiving, assist in packing and uploading stocks, replenish bays of extrusions and parts, work in team's KPI's to control processes and key materials, general housekeeping and other general duties as required.

To be right for the role, you will need:

As we close the doors on 2021 we reflect on the year it was. Our move delayed due to floods early in the year, to finally moving factory only to face the big Sydney Lockdowns, but never ones to give in we persevered thanks to great staff and loyal customers to come out the other side ending the year with a very productive season despite the weather.

We are excited for the new year and being able to introduce a new division soon and expanding the product range offered by Dalekit.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas along with a safe and well deserved holidays. We look forward to opening our doors again on 10th January 2022.
